CLOCKED OFF got in his first start for my stable after being claimed for $3,500.\u00a0 I found a small allowance field of and took advantage of entering him but put him back to the dirt where he is much better.\u00a0 In the four horse field, he was not competitive at 8\/1 odds but he did finish third and brought home 17 BP\u2019s, which also included the non-ending G-card.\u00a0\u00a0 I like the 92 speed and look forward to his next start.<\/p>\n

After starting her career with a second, DESPERATE MEASURE shortened up in distance from 8.25 furlongs to 5.5 furlongs and took on a slight drop from the $7,500 claim price to $4,000.\u00a0 The result was a fourth place finish where she lacked any punch in the race.\u00a0 Her second place finish wasn\u2019t that special as she ran second all the way and lost ground at the end.\u00a0 7 BP\u2019s was the reward but got a changeup from the long streak of G-cards by getting a step up to an F-card.<\/p>\n
