This Saturday a full field of horses leaves the gate in the 7th<\/SUP> annual Carlton Fisk Handicap<\/STRONG>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A grade three race the same weekend as the Breeder\u2019s Bowl, this\u00a0one hasn\u2019t had all that much luck drawing the best of the best, but has consistently turned out a number of decent stakes types.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Previous winners of this race include EVERY RAISE<\/B> who has gone on to win over 3.4 million, SAPPHIRE DEELITE <\/B>in a long-shot come from behind victory, RUSTY HAWK<\/B> 2002\u2019s favourite, PYROMANIACAL (GB)<\/B>, RICKASHAY (GB) <\/B>and last year\u2019s champ BAND OF BUDAS<\/B>. The bookies have slated five horses to battle for the money, but longshots have done well here in the past so don\u2019t count anyone out just yet.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Let\u2019s take a look at the field:<\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 WESTERN SCULPTURE \u2013 <\/B>trained by dorrin<\/I>, ridden by N. Mills \u2013 <\/I>14\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> A four-year-old colt this guy has not finished out of the money yet this year.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>However impressive that stat may be, some of those races were well below the level he attempts here.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>His last five have all been at the stakes or graded level at over 13 furlongs and his performances there have bumped his ranking in the long turf division up to 111th<\/SUP>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Watch for him up near the front early and hope that the furlong less distances doesn\u2019t send him home empty handed.<\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 GREEN STREET II(IRE) \u2013<\/B> trained\u00a0 <\/SPAN>by zeco7<\/I>, ridden by R. Simcox \u2013 <\/I>25\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> This five-year-old has also has an excellent record this year.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Ranked 79th<\/SUP> in this division, watch for him to sit around mid-pack and begin his move at the halfway point, but he\u2019ll need to improve here in order to contend.<\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 A suburb miler, this four-year-old is adding a lot of distance in this race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>His breeding, WAR CHANT X SEEKING THE GOLD X CAPOTE, <\/B>doesn\u2019t suggest he\u2019ll like the extra furlongs either.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Although the bookies like him, I\u2019d like to see him succeed at the distance before betting any of my hard-earned cash. \u00a0 TARMAN DANCER(GB) \u2013 <\/B>trained by lilscoobi<\/I>, ridden by R. Young<\/I> \u2013 22\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> This one is definitely bred for the distance; KAYF TARA(GB) X ELA MANA MOU(IRE) X NATIVE DANCER<\/B> but hasn\u2019t competed at the graded level in his career.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That\u2019s not going to deter me from saying that lilscoobi<\/I> has an excellent chance at the upset here if jockey R. Young <\/I>can duplicate TAR<\/B>\u2019s run from back in 2902 where he finished a close second over 12f in The ODE TO MEXICO Stakes<\/B>.<\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 TOP JIMMY <\/B>\u2013 trained by sdmf2<\/I>, ridden by O. Brim<\/I> \u2013 5\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> JIMBO<\/B> is coming off a huge run last time out, scoring a 106sp over this distance and surface.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The extra distance obviously agrees as his previous attempts at around a mile were lackluster.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A repeat performance here would almost certainly put him in the winner\u2019s circle.<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 IMPULSION \u2013 <\/B>trained by tbgifted, <\/I>ridden by K. Murano \u2013 <\/I>24\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> This five-year-old mare has been kicking around the long division for most of her career.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The shortage of races for fillies and mares over 12 furlongs has forced her to compete against the boys quite a bit in her career.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That being said she shouldn\u2019t be distracted by some of the stallions running today, however her speed may put her out of the running early.<\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 IDENTITY THEFT(IRE) \u2013 <\/B>trained by beefcake 5<\/I>, ridden by C. Euler<\/I> \u2013 13\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> A rags to riches story, ID<\/B> was claimed by beefcake 5<\/I> five races ago for a paltry $7,500. He\u2019s since gone on to win three starter races in a row at this distance.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This is a big jump up for him, but if he can come up with a perfect performance he may be able to crack the money.<\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 FLUSHING WATERS(IRE) \u2013 <\/B>trained by pm<\/I>, ridden by M. Billig<\/I> \u2013 23\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> Another grandson of SADLER\u2019S WELLS<\/B>, the distance hasn\u2019t been a problem for this one either.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He had a huge race in 2986, coming 3rd<\/SUP> by \u00bc lengths in the Bluegrass Cup Turf.<\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He shouldn\u2019t shy away from the competition in this one either, and may in fact thrive on it. Keep an eye on him in the stretch since he\u2019s got a chance at the upset.<\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 EL FREDO(IRE) \u2013 <\/B>trained by fwcltd<\/I>, ridden by A. Lewis<\/I> \u2013 11\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> With only 13 runs under his belt FREDO<\/B> is one of the less experiences runners in this field.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The bookies like him because of his consistent speeds and five wins this season. \u00a0<\/SPAN>If he can post a low 100 speed figure here it should put him in contention for a cheque.<\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 TENPIN GOLD \u2013<\/B> trained by tenpin6, <\/I>ridden by T. Steinlict<\/I> \u2013 6\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> Another quick one, PIN<\/B> has posted 4 100+ speeds in his last five.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The distance won\u2019t be a problem either as he has been in the money in both attempts at this distance this year. Only question is if T. Steinlict<\/I> has the goods to get the job done.<\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 CARELESS \u2013 <\/B>trained by crazyjoe<\/I>, ridden by F. Allen<\/I> \u2013 10\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> Crazyjoe<\/I> felt this colt was just begging for bigger competition and more distance after he won last time out over 11 furlongs.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He\u2019ll most likely want to lead all the way, but there\u2019s some closers in here he\u2019ll have to watch out for.<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 GALLANT WINGS(GB) \u2013 <\/B>trained by gboro<\/I>, ridden by K. Kayser <\/I>\u00a0<\/SPAN>\u2013 8\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> This colt has had tough one\u2019s in his last two. At peak performance he easily pulls in 100+ speed figures, but he\u2019s barely cracked the 90\u2019s of late.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A return to his best would make him a serious contender in this race, although he\u2019s not that lucky in pulling jockey K. Kayser<\/I> who has only won 10.6% of his races this season.<\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 THE GOURMET \u2013 <\/B>trained by quicksand<\/I>, ridden by McCooper<\/I> \u2013 12\/1<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P> Ranked 18th<\/SUP> in the long turf division, this one has had a lot of success in un-graded stakes races. A graded win has so far eluded him, and as solid as he is at turning in top five performances this field is much richer in talent than his usual foes.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A big run could put him in the money, but I\u2019d expect he\u2019ll finish in mid-pack.<\/FONT><\/P> \u00a0 HEY ZEUS \u2013 <\/B>trained by foxon<\/I>, ridden by M.
