There is only six entrants for the main event on Saturday, but four of the horses come in on short odds, while the other two could easily pull an upset. It is too bad that the WRC has chosen to name the race in honor of a mediocre horse. She was able to have a solid career at allowance level but was a no show when in stakes level races. Still the WRC felt she should be honored, maybe it was just the name the organizers liked. At least they set the race on the grass as that is where Titanium Palace did her best running. So, the $55,000 Titanium Palace Special will cover seven and a half furlongs on a firm turf. Here are the ladies that will be competing for the silver.
Perkiomen Valley(IRE) entered by cjwalker. This Irish lass comes in with a strong effort for a win her maiden run. She came storming from the back to win by a nose and this early in her career it is a good indication that will be here trademark throughout. The trainer has her primed and she is looking sharp if a little high strung at the moment. She should settled down by Saturday.
Fantastic Boombah entered by sdubya. This filly comes in with an easy mile win her maiden run. She was not pushed much during the race so it is still too early to say how much better she will be. All indications point to a better performance this time out as she will certainly be pushed while trying to set the pace again. She has been performing well during training and seems calm, which has the trainer very pleased at the moment.
Kirby‘s Fever entered by kirby77. This chestnut filly comes in already running this distance in her maiden win. It was an easy win by almost two lengths after coming a little slow out of the gates. The trainer has been working on this and believes her stalking style will benefit her more when she is nearer the front of the field when she makes her move. The competition will be tougher and this was a necessary adjustment the trainer went on to say.
Credit Condensed entered by growl7. This chestnut filly comes in improving all the time and won her maiden last time out. She was moved to the turf and that has helped her confidence. This will be the longest run of her short career but was still increasing her speed when she crossed the wire indicating she wants more room. Having the middle of the field is too her advantage.
Credit Cracked(IRE) entered by oasis. This chestnut filly comes in off of a horrible last time out at graded level. It is this poor result that has for the high odds coming in. She has proven capable stakes level with a win, but may be more of a sprinter this early in her career. She knows the taste of winning so can not be counted out at any time here. Having the wily veteran Vince Gannon in the irons should steady her.
Liberty Rain entered by foxon. This chestnut filly comes in as the most experience of the group with five times under the saddle. This will be her first run in the grass so the jury is out on how she will do. She likes this distance range and already has an allowance and stakes win in good form. She likes to close on the field and has a strong attacking stride. Having the hot jockey Jesse Sands in the irons won’t hurt her cause.

[2,3,1

post-3257","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews","category-reviews","category-uncategorized
["GET
