A nice field of 8 have shown up for the Rat Jason Memorial. With races of this distance you can normally count out half the field due to distance limits. But most of the entries this week have at least an outside chance at handling the trip. The one thing this race does lack is a speed duel. And while that usually spells doom for the closers, the lone speed horse here does not appear to have enough to get that far out front. The resulting mad dash down the stretch should be an exciting one for the Epsom crowd.
