At the mile pole, Grand Slam Classic was up by 5, but Xtremely Gold had begun her run from 12 lengths back with sdmforlife’s<\/em> This Love<\/strong> (who had settled in about 3 lengths behind XGold) hard on her heels. XGold took over at the top of the stretch and never looked back. This Love tried but was outgamed in the stretch and settled for second. Grand Slam Classic held on for third after setting a fast pace up front. Roberto2’s<\/em> Sam The Man<\/strong> and Zewango3’s<\/em> Cynical<\/strong> rounded out the top five. <\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\nThe winning time was 3:01.1, the fifth fastest at this surface\/distance\/sex combo this year. Interestingly, Xtremely Gold owns the #1, #2 and #6 spots as well. The time was good for a 101SP.
