It was a race of front runners here in Ontario this weekend at the Ontario BB Oaks GIII. It is a fairly rare thing to see in the Sim when you have four horses in a Graded Stakes race that get out front and hold on for the first four spots. It happened here and in the end it was STORMY BREEZE <\/b> who ended up out front and won going away.<\/p>\n

Once again, STORMY BREEZE <\/b> improved as she as every single race she has entered. She ran a sizzling 105 SPF on the lightning fast track and has now won four of six with all six in the money. That money has pushed over the $200,000 mark now too. That has moved her into the top 70 at the classic level. Though this was her first Graded race, she and trainer Lenny2 certainly showed that she belongs in that elite company.<\/p>\n

Along with our winner we had CAROL OF THE BELLS <\/b>, A.P.SADLER<\/b> and XENOPHOBE <\/b> who all swapped places among the front runners but finished in that order behind the winner. All of them finished with triple digit speed figures. One of the favorites NO APAGUES LA LUZ<\/b> who is the number three ranked filly, ran a truly disappointing race, finishing 11th and next to last.<\/p>\n

It appears that we have seen a star in the making in STORMY BREEZE <\/b>. It will be fun to watch if she can continue to improve and move up in the rankings. I\u2019m sure not one to bet against her!<\/p>\n
