This is the third win in three starts for this upstart young colt, son of multiple graded stakes winning horse Revelation II, and he posts a career best speed figure of 101.6 here. His career earnings reach $48180 after this start. He also breaks the top 250 rank among three year old Turf Classic runners, climbing to 207 in just three starts. He looks to be following in the footsteps of his famous father, and will surely make his trainer even prouder in future runs. He also paid well at the betting window, paying $12.30 $5.30 $2.10 across the board, while contributing to a $25.70 exacta and a $39.60 trifecta.

Kirby’s New Crowd provided the early speed here, jumping out in front early. Minor Miracle and Pedro Extremist were right on his tail, though, and the best he managed to open was a half a length. As they hit the half, Kirby’s New Crowd began to flag, and the second half of this one was a two horse race. Minor Miracle got the best jump and took over at the half, running for all he was worth. Pedro Extremist wasn’t going to make it easy on him, driving him right down to the wire. As they approached the finish, Pedro Extremist closed from a half length to a quarter, but Minor Miracle held on as they crossed the wire taking it by a scant quarter length. Highly Motivated was the best of the rest, taking third place honors, a long eighteen lengths out at the wire.

[3

post-2916","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-reviews
["GET
