Grade II
<\/FONT><\/STRONG>A mile and one eighth <\/P>
What a race we have in prospect with 5 GradeI winners and a Grade II winner in a field of 8 three year fillies. Most of the field have been running within a couple of sp points of each other all year too, so this looks set to be a close one. Most of the field will also be harbouring Breeders\u00a0 Bowl Distaff hopes and this should be a barometer of where they are and if they have a chance.<\/P>
Has won a Grade II over 11f recently and has been running at around that trip, with her best run coming latest over 12f with a 100sp third place finish. Has won a stakes over 9.5f this year but hasn’t won over this sort of trip since she was a two year old. Has been pulling awat at the line over 11f and this now looks too short a trip. Will still be competative but I can’t see a place finish today.<\/P>
Ran her best race of the year latest when finishing a closing fifth over 10f latest in the Birmingham Stakes Grade I but is one of the few in the field without a Graded win. The manner of her recent runs suggests that she is another who will now find this trip too short and it’s a big ask to step up and win your first graded race against some of the quality runners here. Can’t see a place finish today.<\/P>
Grade I winner last time out but that was over 7f. Has never won over this far and bombed at her only try at it this year. Has run well at 8f but it may be that’s the limit of her stamina. Based on that I can’t see a win today, especially as the 7f win produced her baset sp by far. Struggle to make the top three.<\/P>
A Grase I win over this trip earlier in the year and and a closing second over 8.5f latest with a 103 sp look like pretty decent form and she will be a big threat today. Those two runs would normally make her favourite but she has run a few ordinary races in between (although one of those was ove 12f which was obviously too far and can be ignored). Looks nailed on for a top three finish if at her best and can chasllenge for the win.<\/P>
The outsider of the field having never run in a graded race and not even won a stakes. Has a couple of nice 10f runs recently and looks ready to challenge in a stakes but this is too good a race against some quality opposition. Not today.<\/P>
Another without a graded run but she does have a 7.5f stakes win. Ran a really nice allowance latest ove 8.5f producing a 103sp and looked ready for 9f but surely some of these will be too good first time up in graded company. May well reach this level soon but will be learning a lot today and will only improve. Won’t be troubling the judge today.<\/P>
She is the hardest one to read in the field, a Grade I victory ove todays trip earlier in the year is a big plus but she has some disapointing runs around that victory (ignore the 11f attempt, clearly too far) and although she has that 9f success and some nice sp’s (100, 99,98) at that trip, she looks like an 8f trip would be better. Those 9f sp’s wouldn’t be enough to win today anyway and I don’t see a win today.<\/P>
She looks a huge danger today, her Grade I victory was over 10f but she was over 6 lengths clear at the three quarter pole and the drop in trip won’t be a problem. Has run two of the highest sp’s in the field in her last three runs and is clearly still improving. Expect her to go hell for leather from the off and it would be highly likely that she can lead wire to wire. Definate top two.<\/P>
