An interesting field of 12 today with most having a chance of the win.

GOVERNMENT LISTING (SMART STRIKE x DIXIELAND BAND x A.P. INDY)

Ran a nice 98sp in an allowance latest but has generallly run better over sprint trips and will be tiring from the quarter. Has won a stakes but that was over 6.5f and can’t se a repeat today.

SEATTLE RAP TED (BRAHMS x SEATTLE SLEW x NIJINSKY II)

Has a win this year but with a below par 93sp and has generallly struggles to get to the 95sp mark. Will take a lifetime best t win today, and I just can’t see it.

FUZZY RAINBOW (RAINBOW QUEST x STORM CAT x DARSHAAN(ENG))

Already has eighteen races under his belt and has run respectably in stakes this year with a win and two seconds. Another who hasn’t broken the 100sp barrier yet and who’ll need a lifetime best to win. He has been improving his sp’s recently though and is not witout a chance.

GHETTO MUPPET (IRE) (ROCK OF GIBRALTAR (IRE) x ZABEEL(NZ) x POLAR FALCON)

Has one piece of form this year that makes him a real danger, his 107 sp win in a stakes race two runs back. He would probably win if repeating that but has put up too many sub par efforts this year to have any confidence in. outside chance but dangerous.

SUBURBIN (NOACTOR x SPANISH DRUMS x WELL DECORATED)

Looked no more than an allowane horse untilhis last three runs, culminating in a closing second with a 99sp over 7.5f latest. Hasn’t really relished previous attempts at a mile but has always closed well at 7-7.5f. Seemed to prefer the turf and has a lively chnce.

TO DIE FOR (IR)( THEATRICAL(IRE) x SEEKING THE GOLD x SARATOGA SIX)

Won a grade I latest and is taking a drop in class here. Only one rcent run over 100sp (that latest run) so that is a concern but is another with a decent chance and should not be undeestimated.

DROP THE BOMB (GB)(BEAT HOLLOW (GB) x LEAR FAN x RIBOT)

Not very convincing so far this year although he has been running in better races. Again has a stakes win but no stand out sp’s. Outside chance of a place.

UNAMAZINGNESS (UNBRIDLED’S SONG x KRIS S. x EL GRAN SENOR)

Has bee running well in higher level graded races and must rate a big danger. With the easier race today he should run a big ine. Easily reach the money.

ROYAL WOODBINE (GREEN DESERT x SEEKING THE GOLD x OBLIGATO)

Another with respctable runs all year but who’s best was his latest in running second in a grade II with a 101sp.He was closer at the three quarter pole on that run though, suggesting that a drop in trip might behelpful, at least at this level. Might be running outof steam at the end but still dangeros.

REMEMBER PANDORA (GONE WEST x KINGMAMBO x GREEN DESERT)
Got to love the pedigree and ran some consistant place efforts in stakes earlier in the year but now looks to be wanting much further, say 10-12f. Hasn’t got the speed figures of some of these and will probably finish just outside the money.

PJ JUST ME (IE) (SLIGO BAY (IRE) x LIT DE JUSTICE x PHONE TRICK)
One of the outsiders and with good reason, ran a best of 98 when winning an allowance bt has only one other recent run over 90 and looks to stuggle here. Would be another to benefit from a step p to 10-12f judged by the manner of his allowance victoryove 9f as he won going right away. Not today.

SPARE T(IRE) (THEATRICAL(IRE) x DANEHILL x MACHIAVELLIAN)
The favourite and rightly so, with six wins from thirteen races inclding a grade I and stakes victories over todays tip recently. His speed figures to seem to have flattened out at around 100-103 which does at least give the rest a chance- anything running a103-104 will probably win. Will sit mid pack and close after the threeqarter pole. Looks the one to beat.

Vedict- 1/ SPAE T(IRE) 2/ SUBURBIN 3/UNANAZINGNESS

[2

post-2818","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
