\u2018Twas the Night Before Christmas 2012 Edition

\u2018Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the game
\nNot a horse was at the farm, none had come up lame
\nThe 2013 breedings were planned with precision and care;
\nIn hopes that a graded winner soon would be there;<\/p>\n

The sim addicts, chat bots and lurkers all nestled snug in their beds,
\nWhile visions of 2 yr old Frankels danced in their heads;
\nPete with his gin, and Skunk with his Gimlet,
\n1000 credit dud Medaglia D\u2019oro\u2019s had Frank feeling snake bit.<\/p>\n

When out on the track arose such a clatter,
\nThat even hammered MTK awoke to see the matter.
\nLenny was still trying clickfest causing the sim to crash
\nWhile good ole ST BILLGULCH got it restored in a flash.<\/p>\n

The message boards awoke with a lot of claiming hissing
\nMonte\u2019s whole cheap string was bought and now missing
\nDebate ensued and accusations were made.
\nWithin the rules but from sim ettiquette they strayed.<\/p>\n

Now a middle age driver, with several young tykes
\nWe knew it was ST BILLGULCH otherwise known as Mike.
\nLike the Call to the Races his horses they came,
\nAnd he whistled, and shouted and called them by name<\/p>\n

Now, Balata ! now, Given! hey CADET and padre!
\nOn, Dixie! now Donny, ACE, squirrel and gowans.
\nAt the top of the lane they all changed their leads
\nSt Bill Gulch was now ready with handfulls of stratch breeds.<\/p>\n

Pulling hard to the left, ST BILLGULCH gave a sigh
\nAs DAVARTO and Emmy offstride careened by
\nSo up on the roof top the horses they flew
\nWith the sleigh full of sire shares and ST BILLGULCH too.<\/p>\n

And then as a clanking was heard on the roof
\nThe prancing and pawing of each simulated hoof.
\nAs I looked at the scratch sheet and was turning around,
\nDown from the Stewards room ST. BILLGULCH came with a bound.<\/p>\n

He was dressed all in old forms from his head to his hat,
\nAnd unanswered e-mails stuffed in his sack.
\nWith a bundle of programs, a brown bag he had a tight grip,
\nHe started to stagger and slur like Dr. Dipper lip.<\/p>\n

His eyes now glassy but the new sim has arrived
\nWe made it past apocalypse so now the game can thrive.
\nHis wake was crowded with touts in the know
\nWith knightmare and dragnil and oldtimer TANICO<\/p>\n

The chewed up end of a stylus he held tight in jest,
\nHappy that Redhill and Testbarn created sim-wide contests.
\nMajor credits galore were won without doubt
\nBig thanks to newbie Drhet for helping out.<\/p>\n

He was chubby and plump, like a retired old jock
\nAnd resembled a pauper who was just out of hock.
\nWith a wink of his eye and a slap of his knee
\nHe added, subtracted and cackled with glee.<\/p>\n

He spoke not a word but kept straight at his work,
\nErasing and writing he then turned with a jerk,
\nAnd laying his finger aside of his nose he skedaddles,
\nWent straight to the teller to Equinics bet on Blazing Saddles.<\/p>\n

Since the new breeding system is working with ease
\nSt. Bill Gulch can relax, and enjoy, the players appeased
\nWith the New Sim in place, and now facebook inclusion
\nSocial media is hot but Delpenn suspect government intrusion.<\/p>\n

Now back to the rooftop, to his team gave a whistle,
\nAnd away they all went as fast as a NY bred Golden Missile.
\nI heard him exclaim, then he drove out of sight,
