8\/14\/2205 Grade III Trixy’s Delight Special-Review<\/STRONG><\/P>

All week long the buzz on the backside leading up to the Grade III Trixy\u2019s Special was about the super stables<\/I> horse, Rhibus<\/I><\/B><\/SPAN>, out of the gradetwo<\/I> stable.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Rhibus<\/I><\/B><\/SPAN> <\/SPAN><\/I><\/B>was clearly the one to beat this week and he offered bettor\u2019s a juicy price at 5-1.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

All the horse\u2019s comfortably settled into the gate, and then they were off.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Haunted Hurricane(IRE)<\/I> broke alertly from the gate, and was followed closely by Love You Most <\/I>and Indycisive<\/I>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Third Time Lucky(NZ<\/I>) and Rhibus<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> settled just off the trio of speedsters, with Fortynine Reasons<\/I> settling in the back.<\/P>

Haunted Hurricane(IRE)<\/I> led the field all the way down the backstretch, with Love You<\/I> Most <\/I>and Indycisive<\/I> in close pursuit.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Meanwhile Vicki Gardner remained sitting chilly on Rhibus<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> 3 \u00be lengths back in 5th<\/SUP>.<\/P>

As they hit the top of the stretch, Vicki Gardner asked Rhibus<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B>, and he responded with ease to pull even, then she tapped him one time with the whip and he was gone leaving the others in his wake.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Third Time Lucky(NZ)<\/I> raced evenly down the stretch for 2nd<\/SUP>, with Fortynine Reason<\/I> making a belated rally for 3rd<\/SUP>.<\/P>

Rhibus<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> <\/SPAN>stopped the clock in 1:36<\/st1:time> 2\/5, just a 1\/5 of a second off the stakes record time for the Grade III Trixy\u2019s Delight Special.\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/B>He paid $12.40 for the win.<\/o:p><\/P>

Rhibus<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> <\/SPAN>is now a perfect 4 or 4 in his career with two Grade III victory\u2019s and earnings off $204,000.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Rhibus<\/I><\/B><\/SPAN> is now the #1 Ranked 2 year old Classic Division Horse.<\/P>

Rhibus<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> <\/SPAN>will likely make his next start in the Grade I GSR Diamond as his final prep for the BB Juvenile.<\/P>
