Is this all worth the $100 million price tag? \u00a0I know it is a pricey repair job, but in my mind, it doesn’t come close to the sticker price. \u00a0The BTB filed Freedom of Information requests for an accounting of the cost of the project. \u00a0Our original request \u00a0was reportedly never received. \u00a0 The second request was sent by the receiver of the request to the state Legal Department, only never making it to it’s destination. \u00a0Our third request was hand delivered to the Legal Department and was allegedly misfiled by a clerk (unnamed) who is reportedly terminated. \u00a0Our fourth request was denied due to typographical errors in the request. \u00a0Corrections were made and a fifth request submitted. \u00a0The State has 30-days to respond and has extended this for an additional 60-days citing security concerns.<\/p>\n
It is obvious that the Bribeme family has much to hide here and have taken the broom out of the closet and are pushing the dirt under the rug.<\/p>\n
Governor Bribeme was on the election ballot this year and won reelection by a narrow 2% of the vote. \u00a0Listening to him at his winner’s celebration you’d think he won by 20 lengths. \u00a0While every single county in Upstate New York had enough of the shenanigans, it was the ignorant folks in New York City who are benefiting from the sole sim-race track that voted in volume to keep the Governor in his place.<\/p>\n
If the voters of New York cannot do their job and clean up this injustice to racing in the state, then it is up to the WWSRA (World-Wide Simulated Racing Agency) that governs racing throughout the sim-world to step to the plate. \u00a0But the question remains: \u00a0Are they willing to put on their horse shoes and step into the starting gate and take over the track and bring it back to the glory it once had? \u00a0I for one hope so.<\/p>\n
