But it happened here at Ostend today when DIRECTOR OFTRAFFIC surprised a few folks by winning the Belgian Tike Grade III Stakes for two year olds.

I mentioned in my preview that this may be one of those colts that just needs to find a win to get things going and on track. That may be the case as our winner certainly put it all together in this race. She ran nearly a perfect race by stalking the leaders, letting them battle it out, then blew by them in the stretch to find the winners circle for the first time. Trainer WhoAmI and jockey Walsh had formed a wonderful plan for this youngster and they all followed it to the letter.

The pre race favorite, JENNA’S DEPUTY jumped out to the early lead but seemingly locked into a battle back and forth with YEARS GO BY for the lead that took a lot out of this young colt. That allowed DIRECTOR OFTRAFFIC to direct himself past the leaders and into the winners circle. After the battle with JENNA’S DEPUTY , YEARS GO BY faded back into forth allowing BEATING THE ODDS to sneak by into third.

It will be interesting to see if our winner has put it all together now and continues to improve and win on the Graded circuit. He sure looked like that will happen after the wonderful race today.

Good luck to all runners!

Email your comments to pazjazz.btb@gmail.comI love to hear from you!

PazJazz

[3

post-2513","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-reviews
["GET
