CAT came marching home in the Woodcutter Cap Stakes race today. The dirt was only rated good but it looks like the winner will be rated excellent after this early Stakes race for two year olds.

This makes two in a row in his first two races and you can bet that trainer Reclaimed is thinking big things for his young colt. This race moves him up into the top five among two year old dirt sprinters and the impeccably bred brown colt looks to only get better. Both of his wins came on off tracks and it will be interesting to see how he can do on a fast oval.

RICH KID was the early leader in this race and it looked like a time that he would be able to hold on for the win but he faded to third behind the winner and THANKSFORASKING who had a tremendous finishing charge but couldn’t quite catch our winner. The colt with extra long name looks like he will be making some noise down the road as well with a first and second in his two races.

Now Trainer Reclaimed will now have to give his prized pony a rest and map out his course to future greatness.

Email your comments to pazjazz.btb@gmail.com I love to hear from you!

Paz

[3

post-2458","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-reviews
["GET
