That was certainly the case in the Sure Will Cap Stakes in France this weekend. I had a good feeling about BACK IN YOUR ARMS and the five year old Kingmambo mare went out and proved me right. I wish it was always that easy!

This was two in a row for the big chestnut mare and trainer Iant4 sure looks like he knows just where to put her. She now has an amazing 13 wins in 28 races and over $1.2 million in earnings. The biggest worry was the off track but she went out and won for the first time in the muck. Jockey Stivers guider her through in his inimitable style.

When I talked about the planets aligning, I actually picked the top five in order in my preview and it went pretty much to plan. GRAVEL beat out CRYPTIC HABITS who had the early lead, to finish fourth. SLY GO LIGHTLY couldn’t match her 106 SPF from her previous race but still ran nicely in third SMACKDOWN was hard charging down the stretch but couldn’t match BACK IN YOUR ARMS experience who pulled away at the end to collect the win.

This was the tenth Stakes win and fourth Graded win for BACK IN YOUR ARMS who could retire right now and have had an outstanding career. I have a feeling that she is going to add plenty to those records and wait quite a while to retire to the breeding shed. I hope I get to see her pound down the stretch again a few times before she turns in her saddle!

Email your comments to pazjazz.btb@gmail.com I love to hear from you!

Paz

[3

post-2457","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-reviews
["GET
