Welcome to todays feature from the Sultanate for older horses over 8.5f on the fast dirt course. Only 8 runners but six of them have a solid chance.<\/P>
Won a stakes latest over 9f and has run some nice other stakes this year with 100+ sp’s. However in most of those races he was closing fast at the end at around 8.5-9f and he looks to want 10f plus. Comes from the back and may find the leaders gone before he ca catch them today. Chance of a top three finish.<\/P>
Another who comes with a late finish and has been closing in most of his races. Best runs have been at 9f and again he may get done for speed today. Needs further to be fully effective, but again has a chance at a top three.<\/P>
Some very nice runs in stakes and allowances and is the only front runner in the race. Has been miles ahead before the last quarter in his races around 9f before being caught in the last quarter (although still holding on to win ion most) and todays trip may be ideal. He will bomb out from the front and will take some catching. Likely winner.<\/P>
Some nice races in graded events this year but also some ordinary runs. This may be his best distance and as he likes to sit just off the pace, may be the only one to be close to WOOD STORM DAM through most of the race. If it’s a gong day he can reach the top three.<\/P>
Has struggled most of the year and his best run was a second place in an allowance over todays trip. Not good enough today.<\/P>
HAs won teo allowanc eraces this year but again is outclassed and will vie for last place.<\/P>
Has one stroming run over 8f on the dirt in a stakes race and followed up with a closing 4th in a Grade II latest. Suggests he now wants further but might be the other to sit reasonably close to WOOD STORM DAM and will get first run on the other closers.<\/P>
