1. 90830 CARNAROE RESERVOIR<\/b> pisanor 25\/1. A 4yo colt by Pure Prize is the longest shot in here. He has tried this distance once and finished 3rd in a starter allowance. He has won a couple of long distance races but most were starter allowance races and his SP\u2019s aren\u2019t that great. Not looking good for him.
2. 92877 BALLISODARE<\/b> ninerdust 4\/1. A 4yo colt by Seeking The Gold with 8 wins from 18 starts. He has never tried 12f but has 2 long route races. Both came at 11f I which he won and both stakes races; last year he won by 5 lengths and most recently this year two races back winning the other by 3 \u00bd lengths. He has the 4th largest SP in long distance races but he won both easily and never had to try hard. He\u2019ll make the top 4 and could possibly win.
3. 28414 IMPULSION<\/b> tbgifted 10\/1. A 5yo mare by Woodman, she\u2019s the 77th rank in this division but that\u2019s for the fillies and mares and she racing against the guys here. She ran once at this distance on turf, it was last year in a G1 race where she finished 3rd. She has faced colts many times and has had success against them, mostly early and middle of last year. Is coming off 2 straight 13f allowance races against the guys and has a 3rd and most recently a win with a 98 SP. It looks like she might pick up 5th or 6th here possibly.
4. 80944 BRUSH OF GREY<\/b> flowers 5\/1. A 5yo horse by Broad Brush, he\u2019s the 75th rank in this division. He has tried this distance once, which came 2 races back in a G2 race finishing 5th. He raced in seven route races with a good record of 7(2,4,0), only bad race came in that G2. He can run in the middle of the pack or near the front. He\u2019s cracked the 100 SP barrier only twice in his 26 starts. I think he could get up for a 4th possibly or a 5th place finish.
5. 62666 BANE(IRE)<\/b> samurai 5\/1. A 4yo colt by High Chaparral, he has 7 wins from 17 starts and is the 84th rank in this division. He has tried this distance 4 times, all coming from last year. Three of the four were in owner restricted races where he has 2 wins and a 2nd, and the 4th start came in a allowance race where he finished 2 losing by 6 lengths however that was on a wet rack and he has shown a dislike to the wet ground. He has run in 3 other long route races on dry surface and they all were at 11f, in stakes and Allowance Company. He won 3of the 4 easily and got a 3rd in a G3. Possibly win, but looks certain to come in the top 3.
6. 12022 A RUB OF IRISH<\/b> mitenpower 7\/2. A 5yo horse by Rubloff is the 12th rank in this division. He\u2019s tried this 12f distance 5 times and 80% were in grade races, he even won a G2 race last year and also got 3rd in the Breeder Bowl. This year at 12f he has a 2nd in a stakes and a 10th in a G1. Two races back he won a 13 allowance race easily by 4 lengths with a 107 SP then came back lto to finish 4th in a G1 at 11f. That 107 SP is one of the highest SP\u2019s at these long distance races out of all of these horses last 5 races. I\u2019m not sure if he can win but he should finish in the top 3.
7. 52272 BRISTOL ROVERS<\/b> swampy 8\/5. A 6yo horse by Blushing Groom, he\u2019s the 8th rank in this division and has won an amazing 25 of 40 Starts and was made the 9\/5 favorite in here. He has raced at 12f on turf more than anyone in here with 20 Starts. His record is a very nice 20(13,0,3). As a 4yo he was probably the best long distance turfer in th sim wining Graded races and posting triple digit SP like in every race. Last year was still doing great, this year he\u2019s raced twice in a 13g G1 race on a wet course where he is 6 for 6, and then lto in a G1 at 12f finishing 9th. That was probably his 2nd worst race of his career. With 40 starts already he could be heading downhill soon, but still has what it takes to win this, should definitely finish in the top 3.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
