After taking the redeye from Kentucky<\/st1:State> to Stockholm<\/st1:City><\/st1:place>, a very tired but excited Maverick is here to fill you in on our big Grade II race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A sold out crowd is expected today as this race is being run in conjunction with tomorrow\u2019s Walpurgis Night celebration\u00a0 <\/SPAN>(http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Walpurgis_Night) and with 50 cent mugs of mead I\u2019m hoping I can still stand by the time our 15th<\/SUP> race comes around.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>While it\u2019s not Mardi Gras, I\u2019m hoping to at least Americanize it a bit as I\u2019ve brought tons of beads with me but I haven\u2019t found that Swedish Bikini team yet.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Our morning line favorite, Tete Novembre<\/B>, is looking for a return to form that he found last year in route to three graded victories.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Of all the horses carrying the \u201cTete\u201d name that are still racing, this one is the most successful with three graded wins.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>After a horrible start for the year in which he finished 19th<\/SUP> of 20 in the Dick Francis G-1<\/U>, he rebounded with a nice showing in his next start in Dubai<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> \u2018s \u00a0<\/SPAN>Sandcastle Fee Duty G-1<\/U>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He may be ready to show more his second start back after a layoff.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>With his front running style, he\u2019ll be the one to catch.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Breaking out of the number eight gate, Jacob<\/B> needs a lot of help to find the winner\u2019s circle.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He\u2019s never won a regular stakes race much less a graded event.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In fact, in his only stakes start (an owner\u2019s restricted event) he finished 21 lengths back.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He rated a career high 106 speed rating two races back but at this point I have to think that it just a fluke race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>It would take another effort like that to compete today.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
