1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>Cupid\u2019s Dead (16-1):<\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cHelp me sdmf2<\/I>, help me!\u201d the protocol droid yelled to his companion.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Sdmf2<\/I>, still belligerent about being cut from EVERY scene he appeared in the Star Wars trilogy, remained in the corner and did nothing.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cWhy don\u2019t you translate something or get your jedi friend to help you?\u00a0 <\/SPAN>You don\u2019t want me around anyway.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Your action scene would just get cut.\u201d\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The other droid was blown to bits before he could respond.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Sdmf2<\/I> snorted as much as a machine could snort and pondered the chance of his snorting horse on the rail in the feature.<\/P>

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>Ollie Price (17-1):<\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I wonder if trainer ismith\u2019s<\/I> name is really \u201cI Smith\u201d, like \u201cI Robot\u201d, the crappy Will Smith vehicle from a couple of years back, or ismith, rhymes with isthmus, except with half a lisp.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Either way, ismith\u2019s <\/I>runner today would have half a chance if he were running half a mile shorter race.<\/P>

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>Rain Dancing (17-1):<\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>King Philip III of France<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region> was known as Philip the Bold and was son of King Louis IX.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Unfortunately, the \u201cBold\u201d part of his name was somewhat of a misnomer.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>His reign was dominated by his father\u2019s officials and policies.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>It is uncertain if trainer phillipj3<\/I> has a nickname or the specifics of his relationship with his dad.<\/P>

4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>Crafty Status (17-1):<\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>After hearing \u201cWin one for the gipper<\/I>\u201d for the fourth time since she was claimed by gipper<\/I> from Wenlock, Crafty Prospector silently wonders why she couldn\u2019t have been claimed by a trainer named Fred or Larry or Sue.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Coincidentally, she has not yet failed to win for the gipper<\/I>.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>Bubblegum Rock (11-1):\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/B>Trainer highpoint<\/I> once tried to juice his horse with pop rocks (the Original Margarita invitational two starts back), but failed when he couldn\u2019t find a pop rock recipe for a margarita and instead went with the Exploding Strawberry Daiquiri (Strawberry schnapps, light rum, lime juice, powdered sugar, strawberries and pop rocks on top). \u00a0<\/SPAN>Next year he\u2019s just going to throw some tequila in there and he\u2019ll have a winner for sure.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Fox in Teen Wolf two.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Trainer jwolfe607<\/I> never got past the first audition for the sequel when he kept insisting that wolf was spelled with an \u2018e\u2019.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Empire Gold cares little about her trainer\u2019s acting career troubles, she\u2019s focused on winning today after her last race, a dominating win in the Dirtydirtydishragyou Stakes.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>Homecoming Dance (5-1):\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/B>Trainer baileybarn<\/I> is clearly named after a horse racing legend, Baileys on the rocks in the clubhouse after the races are run.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Baileys commercial\u2019s aren\u2019t as sexy as those Amaretto Disaronno commercial\u2019s with the girl licking the ice cube, but you can\u2019t make a mudslide with amaretto, so nobody really cares.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Homecoming Dance has won over a million bucks.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That\u2019ll buy baileybarn<\/I> a lot of cocktails.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

8)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>Desfly\u2019s Giant (12-1):\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/B>Desfly\u2019s Giant, not surprisingly, never lived up to her name.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She\u2019s not a giant at all.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She\u2019s just an ordinary sized horse.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>There was a class-action lawsuit against trainer dessie<\/I> for consumer fraud, but nobody was really sure what a dessie <\/I>was or where to find one, so the lawsuit was dropped.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

9)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>Classic (10-1):\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/B>In kindergarten, trainer sunkitten<\/I> was voted most likely to succeed in getting a horse with a one word name to be an also ran in a Graded stakes race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Those crazy kids.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That\u2019s mean.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Classic actually might earn a check today and if able to handle the step up, could actually beat this talented field.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>If Classic wins, sunkitten<\/I> can go back to the small town where he came from (I hope sunkitten<\/I> is a he) and taunt that little brat Lissa Parntel who thought she was so much better than everyone else back when they were six.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

10)\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>\u00a0<\/SPAN>Buck the System (7-<\/B>1):<\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I think trainer verygooday<\/I> is being very irresponsible in naming a horse Buck the System.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This kind of anarchist propaganda is what\u2019s wrong with the world today.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Follow the system!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That\u2019s what the system is there for.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Jeez.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Despite his trainer\u2019s social deviancy, Buck the System is 7-1 and will be a factor today.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

11)\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>\u00a0<\/SPAN>Forest Emblem (15-<\/B>1):<\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Trainer lenny1<\/I> has been accused at cheating at acey-deucey, three man, four-square, five card draw, the pick six, seven card stud, crazy eights, nine ball, the place pick ten, twenty one and even, yes it\u2019s true, fifty two card pick up.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He is clearly a dirty rotten scoundrel.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Charges have not yet been filed in any of the previously listed accusations.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

12)\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>Berzerk Gold (7-<\/B>1): <\/B>\u00a0<\/SPAN>In the future, the sun is either going to expand and boil the earth away or shrink and freeze the earth up like kool-aid in the freezer, I forget which.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Trainer futurestar<\/I> is clearly forecasting doom for this field with his fine filly Berzerk Gold, much like the sun is forecasting doom for us denizens of earth.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>At least, that\u2019s what I think his name means.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

13)\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>Cadillac Moon (9-<\/B>2):<\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Trainer blackswan<\/I> is nothing but a glorified duck.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>At least, that\u2019s what the Chaffee Zoo website tells me.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Black swans \u201cin truth, are glorified geese, and geese are just big ducks.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Black swans\u2026 excuse me, black big ducks, have red bills with a white stripe down by the tip.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>They even have black legs.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I\u2019ve never seen one, but I now have seen pictures.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>They\u2019re kind of cute.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Not as cute as Cadillac Moon\u2019s chances here, which are very cute indeed, even breaking from the outside post.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Last out dominated the field in the Grade I Orange Blossom and if able to break alertly, could be right there on the front end again today.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
