Hello everybody and welcome to the greatest place on earth and my home state victoria for the G2 CEO Classic (2832.5315) for all horses 3yo and up to be run over 12 furlongs on turf to days race brings together 3 up and coming horses trying to carck the top 10 in the long grass dividion, #14 ranked SWINGSHIFT SAL #15 ranked, TREASURE OF ARMANA(IRE) and #21 ranked HEY ZEUS and with others such as ARCADIA JACK , DESERT OASIS and ACID all trying to to capture G2 glory I expect to see a tough battle so let’s take a look at the form guide and try to pick the winner.

This horse is coming from a stable looking for it’s first win but this won’t be it with an average sp of around the late 70’s this horse would need a gallon of red bull before the race in hope to grow wings. No chance! (theslew1 welcome to the game if you need help go to the forum and read everything you can, get a stable reveiw also use sinoboys entry checker to help you place your horses in the correct race and ask as many questions as you have to, there is always sombody willing to help. ROUSILLON x BE MY GUEST x NEVER SO BOLD(IRE) 9\/2
Interesting horse picked up in a claimer for just $60,000 about a year ago and although he is yet to win at stake or graded level you would have to consider him a solid chance. This son of ROUSILLON is steping up to 12 furlongs for the 1st time and could prove to be a winning move as 4 starts back in The MINE THORN Challenge-Stk over 11 furlongs he made up a lot of ground late in the race and that extra furlong could prove to be the decive factor however if he get’s to far back he may have to deal with traffic but I think he will be in the finish.

7yo 3 time stake winner who is running in the best form of his life. ARCADIA JACK is having only his 2nd start this year after a first up 3rd in The TRIPOD BOB Handicap-Stk to GOLDEN JUBILEE II(GB). Late last year he had 2 stake victorys in The GATLING SEA Handicap-Stk and The JUDGE
FOURTEEN Special-Stk before being put out for a long spell. Altough this race is the shortest he has run for a year and a half I think his old legs will get him to the post close to the money. An outside chance.

SINGSPIEL(IRE) x WOODMAN x CARO(IRE) 11\/1
Comes from a stable of only 5 horses and the stable name is called 555farms and the horse has had 5 wins (This is almost a horse for oman punter) (see main forum page 5 for the joke) nice little horse making his way through the grades but not quite racing as well as expected. After a good
year last year so far this season has been very disapointing to say the least with no placings at all this year. However he does come from a good stable and 555farms know what they are doing. I would like to see him run with the leaders to win. An outside place chance only.

SADLER’S WELLS x GONE WEST x THEATRICAL(IRE) 7\/2
This stable has had 180 wins from only 761 starts that is 23% and this horse is the best in that stable. A 9 time graded or stake winner HEY ZEUS has even won twice at G1 level winning THE MOSSCOW CLASSIC-G1 and Little Guppy Classic-G1. So far this year he has not been at his best with only 1 placing in 4 starts. This son of SADLER’S WELLs will need to lift his game to take this race out. I expect to see him at the back of the field and he will be running on late. Has some chance.

DAYLAMI (IRE) x\tTHE MINSTREL x DAMASCUS 38\/1
This fella is building up a nice record of 2 wins and 3 2nds from only 7 starts. So far this year he has won an allowence over 9.5 furlong then steped up in class to only run 5th in The FROG’S HALL Stakes-Stk and then he was steped up to 11 furlongs for the 1st time and ran home like a steam train to go down by just 3 lengths to top youngster LEX LUTHOR (he made up 9.5 lengths in the last 1\/4 of the race) But now this 3yo son of DAYLAMI (IRE) is racing the older horses for
the 1st time and will need to step up even futher to win this a good place bet at those odds!

GREEN DESERT x SEEKING THE GOLD x SECRETARIAT 14\/1
A winner of 3 graded and stake races the last of which came as a 4yo (he is now 6yo) has been racing in the worst form of his career. So far this year he has been unable to finish top 5 even at allowence level. This son of GREEN DESERT is racing for his future today and will need to show michap some heart today otherwise he may be off to get the chop and used for breeding. I can’t see him getting close. CHOP!

SWAIN (IRE) x PLEASANT COLONY x\tROYAL SKI 9\/2
Best horse of another top TREASURE OF ARMANA(IRE) is a 10 time stkae or graded winner who is comming off a 4 length victory in The DISTURBING STORM(IRE) Handicap-Stk over 14 furlongs. So far this year he has not been running the speed figures that he normaly does but I expect to see an improvment from him this week and I think that he will sit just behind the leaders and he will be in front at some stage he will give you your moneys worth.

A 2 time stake winner last year as a 3yo this son of WOODMAN is also another horse not racing very well of late, his last 3 starts have been very poor. Before that he did win an allowence and he also finished 3rd in the Gallant Socks Handicap-G3 but he was a long way from the winner and will need to show a lot of improvemant to even get close to winning this race and before I bet on him, in a word NO!

SWINGSHIFT SAL \tCurrent Owner: click
NIGHT SHIFT x ROBERTO x\tFAPPIANO 5\/2
Fantastic horse from a very experienced stable, SWINGSHIFT SAL has won 9 races at stake and graded level including The Prince of Whales-G1 as a 4yo. So far this year things have not quite gone his way with only 1 placing in 4 starts but he will run about 100sp and that will put him in the finish. SWINGSHIFT SAL likes to sit midfield during the race and I expect to see him make his run about 3 furlongs out. He is a very good chance.<\/p>\n
Well after all that I don’t think there is much speed in this which means a sp of arund 97 could be the number that wins this. I think ARCADIA JACK will lead TREASURE OF ARMANA(IRE) and SWINGSHIFT SAL will sit just off the pace KORNEPHOROS(IRE) and HEY ZEUS will be midfield and GREY STORMY DAY(IRE) and SURGEON TUBES will be at the back. I believe that the winner will come from the front of the pace because of the lack of genuine speed which will make it hard for the backmarkers to win.
