You could see In The Colony GA(GB) start to tire as they approach the third call, and Fairways N Greens(GB) finally managed to grab a clear lead. She carried about a three length lead as they turned for the stretch. Git Down didn\u2019t show a real bullet close, just a nice steadily lope as she started to gain steam around the twelve furlong mark. No flying past the opposition, she just ground it out as they moved down the stretch, and was able to catch the leader right at the wire to claim a half length victory, leaving Fairways N Greens(GB) with the second place honors.
