Connecticut<\/STRONG>–\u00a0\u00a0 Rockriver’s impressive sophomore filly Dance Seeker<\/STRONG> brings her perfect 4-for-4 turf win streak to Connecticut Saturday in the $65,000 Frisco Shocker Challenge<\/EM>.\u00a0 The Seeking The\u00a0Gold daughter faces five other foes over nine furlongs on\u00a0a firm grass course.\u00a0 <\/FONT><\/DIV>
<\/FONT>\u00a0<\/DIV>
Dance Seeker (even money) has been one to watch.\u00a0\u00a0 The filly raced over the main track as a freshman and she was OK, winning 2 of 4 races.\u00a0 However, rockriver switched her to the grass in Janaury for her 3YO debut and\u00a0Dance Seeker’s since been on fire.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The filly marched through her\u00a0ALW conditions with splendid zeal, battling it out over three-quarters as well as a flat mile.\u00a0 Last time out, Dancer Seeker superbly bagged her grass stakes debut, trouncing a 7f group by 4 1\/2 lengths.\u00a0 The 96 SP#<\/STRONG> too is excellent for a fily at this stage of her career?\u00a0 Do we have another Elsinore or La Pata Daisy in the works?\u00a0 Ha!\u00a0 Top jockey Ian Thomas (23%) has a challenge this week — he’s got to nurse this filly through 9f.\u00a0 She loves to duel and can be a handful.\u00a0 Thomas must let her settle behind the lead and see if she can go the distance.\u00a0 Litmus test then for Dance Seeker.\u00a0\u00a0<\/FONT><\/DIV>

On the far outside,\u00a0jefahl stable sends Dynamic Quality<\/STRONG> (3\/1).\u00a0 \u00a0Like the favorite, Dynamic Quality too recently switched to the lawn this season\u00a0after faring honestly over the main track.\u00a0 The Elusive Quality daughter\u00a0tired a tad in the final sixteenth over 8.5f in turf ALW company.\u00a0\u00a0 She’s since pocketed a miler ALw over a short field for god measure.\u00a0\u00a0 The stalker\/pace presser\u00a0has the goods to reel this one in, but is still learning the ropes.\u00a0\u00a0 Definitely try turf sprint if she\u00a0tires badly Saturday!\u00a0 Love those two 6f dirt wins last year — they weren’t big SP#s, but look how she won those with ease!\u00a0 \u00a0Also flat mile on grass again too — this is a litmus test for her — sometimes an extra sixteenth here and there can make all the difference between a\u00a0spot-on run and an “I give up” flop.\u00a0<\/FONT><\/DIV>

Pg45 sends out another Seeking The Gold daughter:\u00a0\u00a0 Special Gold<\/STRONG> (7\/2).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0this lassie too just switched to the grass and the result was an ALW NW2L victory over a mile.\u00a0 \u00a0Granted, it was a short field and 77 SP#.\u00a0 Still, we know she’s a classy gal — Special Gold was stakes-placed a couple last year as a 2YO.\u00a0 Has made her entire career so far around two turns — would highly recommend trying a sprint soon, because you never know with ambiguous Seeking The Gold.\u00a0\u00a0We’ll see if she can\u00a0elevate her game and numbers over the grass Saturday.<\/FONT><\/DIV>
<\/FONT>\u00a0<\/DIV>
Bar13’s stakes-experienced Mixed Signals(FR)<\/STRONG> (11\/1) has made all but\u00a0two of her\u00a0nine career starts in stakes company.\u00a0 By Sagamix(FR), the filly earned her black type stripes over some short fields last season.\u00a0 Pretty low SP#s and she’s only made one starts as a 3YO, where she finished 2nd in yet another 4-horse field.\u00a0 Great race spotting…. but this one might be a bit more difficult.\u00a0 Hasn’t raced in near three months.\u00a0\u00a0 Might be asking too much.\u00a0\u00a0<\/FONT><\/DIV>
<\/FONT>\u00a0<\/DIV>
Tonno200’s Pussycat Doll(GB)<\/STRONG> (9\/1)\u00a0broke her maiden in her 6th start and first outing around two turns on grass.\u00a0 79 SP# for the Haafd(GB) filly.\u00a0\u00a0 Dark horse.\u00a0 Not much to go on here and in all honesty looks misplaced.\u00a0 Should test ALW company first before the leap.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/FONT><\/DIV>
<\/FONT>\u00a0<\/DIV>
Finally, fernando has Battle\u00a0Ardennes(IRE)<\/STRONG> (7\/1).\u00a0 Three cheers for Black Sam Bellamy(IRE) — he’s a gem of a underused Sim sire.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Savvy trainer placed her perfectly for two-turns and the filly won her MSW and ALWs right off the bat.\u00a0 Speedster floundered a bit in her stakes debut though.\u00a0 Can see the placement here, but needs to\u00a0put forward a far better effort than her last.\u00a0 Honest, but the faves are more eye-catching.<\/FONT><\/DIV>

Snowchief’s Picks<\/U>:\u00a0\u00a0<\/FONT><\/DIV>

Dance Seeker has star-quality going, but can she get the 9f?\u00a0 If not, then look at Special Gold who has back class over the dirt.\u00a0 Dynamic Quality could pick up the pieces, but I’d rather see her in a sprint.\u00a0 Finally, always watch for fernando (LOL!) — he can play the spoiler any day of the week.\u00a0 <\/FONT><\/DIV>
