A good week with four going to post and all bringing in some valuable BP\u2019s.<\/p>\n

RACERS<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n 35-1 longshot High Candy<\/b> was placed into a turf $35k starter allowance and the field only had four runners.\u00a0 He ran like a longshot, finishing fourth and last.\u00a0 Speed of 80 matched his prior race result on turf in claiming event.\u00a0 He had a win for me on dirt which was with half a field of CPU owned racers.\u00a0 I may opt to shoot for the dirt next start.\u00a0 Not the best in the stable but got 7 bps which will be added to the bankroll.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Magoooooo <\/b>made his second start in this month and he was also running in a short 4-horse starter allowance field but was the betting favorite at 4\/5 (not the same race as High Candy).\u00a0 He ran well, at least early on, pressing the lead, but by the \u00be pole, he drifted back.\u00a0 By the end of the race he finished a beaten third, seven back in the mile race.\u00a0\u00a0 He has been showing a history of running early and fading so I have set the jockey directions to 70 with hopes to pull him back a bit, but be in striking position.\u00a0\u00a0 I have had him on the turf and may bring him back to dirt where the majority of his career starts have been.\u00a0\u00a0 12 BP\u2019s picked up this week.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After winning his third straight a few weeks ago for me, I immediately entered Take Me<\/b> into a $20k claiming turf race at 14 furlongs.\u00a0 Being that he was entered some three weeks ago, I was surprised to find another 4-horse field.\u00a0\u00a0 The turf turned out to be yielding, and fortunately, Take me is a wet track runner.\u00a0 Rallying from the rear of the field in the back stretch, Take Me zipped to the lead at the head of the stretch and drew off to win by three.\u00a0 This makes four straight for this horse and earned 25 BP\u2019s.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Not all fields were 4-horses,\u00a0 The Cartooner <\/b>ran in a starter allowance of $12,500 in a field of 6 horses.\u00a0 He was added to my stable last month and brought a 5-race win streak into this event which earned him the favored odds of 9\/5.\u00a0\u00a0 This speedster went to the front and did not look back, wiring the field by a stride making it six in a row and his 9th<\/sup> win in the past 12 months.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gotta love the 37 BP\u2019s that came along with the victory.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n STABLE CHANGES<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n No horses were claimed this week nor were any placed into the auction.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CLAIMERS & AUCTIONS<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n I have three horses residing in the barn right now and am comfortable with the current status.\u00a0 Accordingly, I made not claim attempts nor any bids in the auction.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n SUMMARY<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n A nice week with\u00a0 81 BP\u2019s picked up this week.\u00a0 I\u2019ve passed the half-way point in this self-challenge with \u00a0522 BP\u2019s to date, way more than I anticipated.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Racing record stands at 11-8-6 in 34 races\u2026also a lot better than I envisioned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" A good week with four going to post and all bringing in some valuable BP\u2019s.
