This was his first stakes victory, and he has now won 5 of his last seven starts. The victory puts his career earnings mark to just over 183K, and helps him creep up in the older Turf Sprinter division to a rank of 184. This race was a bettors paradise, with the winner paying $18.70 $10.30 $6.50 across the board. He also contributed to some very nice exotic payoffs, with the exacta paying $166.90 and the trifecta paying $936.50 to any luck ticket holders.

There was a very tight break in the race, with No Blarney(IRE) and Hill And Halo breaking out on top early, under a lot of pressure from the outside posts. No Blarney(IRE) finally managed to shake well into the second half, openin up just over a length on the field by the third call. As is often the case behind a hot early pace like we saw here, though, the stretch belong to the closers. Once Wylde was in the best striking distance at five lengths out at the half, and he passed the flagging leader as they came down the stretch, running away with this race. Return Of The Cat was seven and a half out at the half, and showed a potent stretch run to capture second, three and a quarter out. Favorite, Unbridled Horizons(FR), who found himself eleven lengths out and trailing the field showed a very powerful close, taking third place, three and a half out at the wire with a bullet.

[3

post-2003","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-reviews
["GET
