First off this article couldn\u2019t be possible with the monumental efforts from the people over at Vermont! THANK YOU! This has to be the best equinics ever with turnout and publications at the BTB. A very exciting time in our simulated universe, indeed. To start, let\u2019s take a look at the main focus behind the equinics and that is the people of this great game and the residencies they are a part of.<\/p>\n

Gallop Racer Simsters (GR Simsters) stole the show. Taking home a monstrous 42 points winning the gold medal 13 points (Two Golds and a Silver). They truly had a very strong overall team, competing well on both surfaces (Turf 20\/Dirt 22), genders (Male 20\/Female 22), all distances (10 sprints, 12 mile, 9 classic, 11 Marathon) and showing only slight weakness across age (11 Three year olds, 31 Older). Congrats to Given and GR crew.<\/p>\n

All Star Racing took home the silver with a total of 29 points, largely influence by girl power! (18 Female\/11 male). ASR also was strong at the classic distance winning a majority of points between 8.5-10 furlongs (5 sprint, 5 mile, 11 classic and 8 marathons).<\/p>\n

Empire State Racing was the only repeat medal winning team narrowly missing the repeat silver and finishing with the bronze at 28 points. ESR strong performance was due in large part by their older performers (4 Three year olds, 24 Older).<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Of course the community aspect wouldn\u2019t be around if it wasn\u2019t the love of the horses, specifically the love of breeding new horses.<\/p>\n

Top Sire of the game was a tie between two members of the Mr. Prospector family. Unbridled\u2019s Song (Gold 2, Silver 1, Bronze 2) and Distorted Humor (5 bronze) both took home the most medals. Pivotal and Galileo took home the most Golds with 3 each. Twenty-one (21) total sires took home more than one piece of hardware. Again Mr. Prospector family stole the show, his influence is directly related in the sire line in 5 of the listed horses, not to mention another 3 with female influence.<\/p>\n
