Poll trained by n2racing is 7/1 and ridden by T Bates. This brown horse is sired by Danzig and looks like he might have a come back. He doesn’t have a very good stakes record but won the Buster’s Screw Memorial on firm turf at this distance. He also won an allowance on the Cal track. He has a chance of finishing in the money.

PP#2 Deputy Fiffe trained by feedbag and ridden by J Nabbs is coming out at 6/1. A beautiful chestnut horse by Elusive Quality. Won his last two races, both allowances. In his last allowance he ran an impressive race on the California track. Might just show up and take this race away from the competition…who knows?

PP#3 That Bird’s A Liar trained by riverflyer, ridden by L Brock and shows up at 10/1. This brown horse is by Sakhee and a speed figure roller coaster. Last two races were allowances, one on the turf, one on the dirt. He won an allowance running a 99. By the end of 2005 it looked like this horse was fading but it looks like he is back to run.

PP#4 Santa Claus II trained by highstakes is at 13/1 and ridden by M Billig. This brown horse is by Miesque’s Son. He likes to bounce lately, hopefully the speed doesn’t drop. Best finishes in his last five races include a 2nd in the Buster’s Screw Memorial running a 93 and 3rd in the Redskin Bandwagon Special-allowance running another 93.

PP#5 Russian Odyssey trained by congo1, ridden by S Ball and at a high 17/1. A nice brown colt by American Odyssey. Obviously this guy likes the California track but not this distance. He needs to be running a shorter race. I do not see him finishing well.

PP#6 Hannah Baganna trained by rharfo is 8/1 and ridden by M Staples. This chestnut colt by Pikepass is screaming to be raced at this distance. In his last five races he has had two wins running at 99 and 104. This colt has a chance at finishing in the money.

PP#7 Lowlands Latino trained by zeco2, is ridden by J Pimental and is at 14/1. Here is a brown colt by Storm Cat. In his past five races he has only had one win on a yielding turf track running 104. He has the speed but I am unsure how well he will run on this firm turf.

PP#8 War City trained by daunte6 is 6/1 and ridden by F Gossett. This chestnut colt by War Chant is in my top three pick. He won the Cherry Limb Stakes G2 here on the California track, running 104. This colt has consistant high speed figures. In his last five races: 101-104-100-93-103. He should run nicely!

PP#9 Handeed Over trained by earthling is ridden by N Bonus and is 14/1.This brown horse is by Hansel. The two best finishes in his last five races are a 1st running a 93 and a 2nd running 102, both allowances. His last race was a disappointing 2nd to last finish in the Chip Abdo Challenge. He bumps lately so I expect to see a jump in speed this time around.

PP#10 El Nino Rapido trained by oaklawn66 is at 4/1 and ridden by G Mesler. Here is a brown colt by Mineshaft. He won the Creepy Gal Stakes and the Honkey Tonk You Stakes, running 102 and 99. He won an allowance in week 2720 running 106. This horse has the possibility of speed. Might even finish in the top two.

PP#11 Highest Love(IRE) trained by lostcode, is ridden by R Simcox and shows up at 4/1. This is a gorgeous brown colt by High Chaparrel(IRE). He is my pick to win. Likes the long turf for sure and won the Chip Abdo Challenge, finished 2nd in both the Strange Brew Turf Handicap G3 and the Bird Seed Bonanza. In his last five races: 106-101-102-97-100.

Good Luck Everyone!

[2

post-1895","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
