She should be able to take advantage of the inside draw by going straight to the lead and giving the rest of the field something to catch. LTO she became a Stakes winner when she led and completed a wire to wire victory with a 1/4lgth win and a PB 100SP. This time she has to go another furlong and that may tell against her in this field.
RATING – 95

2 – KEPLER OF DREAM(IRE) (ROCK OF GIBRALTAR(IRE) x ALJABR) 4F
26 7 4 4 $169,727
Owner – marre
Jockey – T Brett
Distance/Surface – 0-0-0

Another veteran trainer marre saddles up KEPLER OF DREAM(IRE), who’s looking for her 1st Stakes win. LTO was a disappointing 4th over 14F but comes back to a more suitable 11F today. She will be near the back of the pack looking for a run in the stretch but I think she will have a difficult time saluting the judge.
RATING – 92

3 – END OF THE REIGN (WAR EMBLEM x ANJIZ) 5M
29 10 3 3 $349,390
Owner – theprofit2
Jockey – L McNeal
Distance/Surface – 4-2-0

Multiple Stakes winner and stable star END OF THE REIGN looks to be well placed here. If she can get the to the front she will be very hard to hold out. LTO she came across a couple of classy girls in a 10.5F Stakes and wasn’t disgraced finishing 4th with a respectable 95SP. My only query is the speed duel with STAR INDY, if she can get to the lead she’ll be hard to hold out.
RATING – 98

4 – REDWOOD SCREWBALL (RED RANSOM x WOODMAN) 4F
19 6 3 2 $374,150
Owner – supertoy07
Jockey – P Jenkins
Distance/Surface – 0-0-0

REDWOOD SCREWBALL is a multiple Stakes winner at both 2YO & 3YO and the morning line favourite at 3/1. Today she is making her 4YO debut so she may need the run. She has never won beyond 9.5F but looks as if she’s matured over the break and is bred to do well at this distance. Prefer to see.
RATING – 97

5 – DARE TO BE REGAL (POLISH MINER x MILL REEF) 4F
22 8 3 6 $240,644
Owner – simrace7
Jockey – C Wyatt
Distance/Surface – 0-0-0

DARE TO BE REGAL has already won 2 Stakes from 3 attempts this year and has the No. 1 Jockey in the saddle. She has appreciated the return to the turf but is stepping up in distance, which is her major hurdle today. If she can get over that, look for her at the finish.
RATING – 96

6 – ALYCHANT (WAR CHANT x NUREYEV) 4F
17 5 1 3 $188,057
Owner – lenny15
Jockey – A Epps
Distance/Surface – 2-0-0

ALYCHANT has been consistent since stepping up to Stakes class after failing last year in 3 Graded races. Another who steps up in distance after 2 previous unplaced efforts over 11F. I think she is ready to step up this time and give this a real shake.
RATING – 100

7 – ZASPIRIT(NZ) (ZABEEL(NZ) x QUEST FOR FAME(GB)) 4F
16 2 1 2 $230,251
Owner – springapp
Jockey – P Jeter
Distance/Surface – 1-0-0

ZASPIRIT(NZ) by Southern Hemisphere super-sire Zabeel is the outsider in today’s field. Her form has gone downhill since a 2nd in the Grade 1 Oaks de English last year. Today she has her 2nd run of her 4YO campaign over a more suitable 11F. Unlike some of the other runners here the distance won’t be a problem and maybe she is ready to fire after a decent break before her previous run. Worth an EW bet.
RATING – 96

SUMMARY
If END OF THE REIGN can get the lead I think she will go wire to wire, but I have my doubts she can over STAR INDY. That being the case ALYCHANT will be very hard to hold out, with a huge watch on REDWOOD SCREWBALL and I expect a much improved run from ZASPIRIT(NZ).

PICKS
6 – ALYCHANT
3 – END OF THE REIGN
4 – REDWOOD SCREWBALL
7 – ZASPIRIT(NZ)

[2

post-1892","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
