1. 3241 JABBOG bleumoon 4/1. A 6yo horse by Wild Zone has 40 career races. In his previous 4-year career, he has never run in these long distance races, this is the first year he has tried it. He has run at 12,13,14, and 16f, with his lone win coming at 16f. His last 3 races were pretty bad, so I’ll have to pass since the amount of races might be catching up to him.
2. 46707 WAR PALACE erendira 6/1. A 5yo horse by War Emblem with 13 wins from 33 starts. He just started to run in these long distance races last year, and has raced only once this year in Jan. His record at these long distance is 10(6,3,0); all of which were mostly starter allowances. I’d say he’ll come in the top 4.
3. 40281 ALYASCH blaster2 7/1. A 4yo horse by Miesque’s Son. He has 14 career races with 4 long distance races. He won 2 which were at 11f and 12f in allowance races. Failed in his stakes try at 13f but has the excuse of a wet track. I don’t really think he can win here, but he looks like one that can still improve later on, I’d say he’ll come in 5th.
4. 90607 HYATT(IRE) chevrolet 2/1. A 4yo colt by Theatrical is the 2/1 co favorite in here. He has 8 wins from 25 starts. Has 5 wins from 9 races in long distance races. Wins include multiple allowance races and a Grade3 at 13f last year. Recently has a win and 3rd in two tries at 13f this year. He looks liek the one to beat in here and should win possbily.
5. 53211 LOAD THE CANNONS winnaquid 9/2. A 4yo colt by War Emblem with 7 wins from 23 starts. He started running in these long distance races since middle of last year with success with 5 wins from 10 starts. he has run at this distance 4 times with three wins and a second; with the wins coming in allowance and stakes races. He likes to come from behind but so do the two co favorites, but I expect a top 3 from him.
6. 16042 SLEW A DEPUTY derbyking9 2/1. A 4yo colt by Deputy minister is the co favorite at 2/1 as well. He has 24 career races and has run at these long distance races 3 times, twice last year and once this year. Has 4th in a 12f stakes and 3rd in a 16f allowance last year. He then recently came in 2nd in a 14f races this year. His SP’s are good at the middle distances but not as good in these races. I’ll have to pass on his odds; I’d expect a top 4 performance.
