This week I had two horses running on the track, with hopes to add to my 40 BP bankroll.\u00a0\u00a0 Hold The Lead<\/b>, a horse I acquired for one-buck in the auctions ran in West Virginia.\u00a0 I pointed her to the turf after a terrible career debut on the dirt.\u00a0\u00a0 She was 6-1, the fourth choice in the 8-horse field, giving me hopes of getting something with a top-five finish.\u00a0\u00a0 She finished dead last a good 18 lengths back.\u00a0\u00a0 Good thing it was only 7.5 furlongs otherwise she\u2019d still be running if it was a longer distance.\u00a0 For a buck it was worth to see if the grass would work.\u00a0 Back into the auction she went and I got my buck back.\u00a0 So I broke even on the deal. Well, I did have boarding fees, so I suppose I actually loss some.<\/p>\n
