Not a pleasant sight on arriving to see the rain coming down but at least without the Olympics I should be able to get a cab and a decent hotel. Last time here I had to bunk down at the bloody stables.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

I also have a colt entered here this year and how he will go in the wet is anybodies guess but Mrlucky and the others from the OHIO residency are looking after him but I hope to catch up with them later and add my two cents in, even considering the fact that they have threatened to tar and feather me if I so much as try and offer my advice.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The Jacinto Vasques<\/I> Grade I <\/B>for fillies and mares is my assignment and we have a field of 19 out to strut their stuff. One wonders here also how the track conditions will affect the outcome and it may well be the day of the boilover and wins for the minnow residencies.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

As we have come to expect\u00a0 <\/SPAN>their entry Light Spectrum(GB)<\/B> trained by blaster2<\/I> comes into this with form on the board, the winner of 13 from 28 this (Diesis x Habitat) mare is ranked 50 in her clas and is coming off an impressive last start win over 9 furlongs. She also is the winner of 7 of her last 8, the only thing against her is she is coming back to the mile though with her style this shouldn\u2019t cause any concerns. She ha had one start on a wet track for a place so it shouldn\u2019t worry her too much.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Has had 3 runs in the wet for one show and as her last 8 runs have been at allowance level may struggle here though her shrewd trainer tejanoroy<\/I> claims he is confident she will run a good race.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

She also has a win and a show from four starts on the wet surface so this could just be the chance she requires to show her wares and figure in an upset.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The sky is the limit for this mare and is also one from one in the wet so the only thing going against her is the rise in class. But winning form is good form and it wouldn\u2019t surprise to see her take the leap in class and be right in the finish here.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

A winner of a Grde 3 seven runs back since than has also won a Stakes with very good time. Her past two runs have been down on form\u00a0 <\/SPAN>she will be better suited by the mile. She has yet to run in the wet so that couls also be a concern. She will need to be at her very best here. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

This talented mare has 12 from 31 and her present form is imposing with four from her past eight including 2 Stake wins followed by a fourth in a Stakes at latest start. One concern is that she has tried the wet 3 times and had 2 shows and is also stepping up in class. Provided she can turn in a run like she did three starts back she can make her presence felt.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

This mare is all class and only has to perform to her ability and she should get <\/SPAN>Vermont<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> a win here.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The price is a bit of a mystery because this mare can gallop. Tried on dirt at her latest run she managed a third and the three runs prior to that she had the distances changed from long to short. Before those runs she was all class winning two Grde2 races and a seconded in a GrdeI. She also is 2 from 3 in the wet so will relish the conditions and she looks a great bet at the odds.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The class may tell here and she also is having her first outing on a wet track so will have to be taken on trust.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

She has never run on an off track and even though her connections claim she has trained the house down and is back to her imperial best I believe she is beatable here though I am a legend at being wrong.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Very hard to figure this mare out she disappointed at her last two runs at Graded level but two runs back had a good win in a Stakes race. In her favour is that she is 1 from 1 on the sloppy going so that may could make all the difference and you would be a mug to write off her chances.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

She also has had 3 runs in the slop with two shows to her credit. This could be a little tough for her but she will be in the front or close to it for part of the journey.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

She has a place from 2 starts in the wet so is not a complete duffer in these conditions, but this is going to be difficult for her.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

She has a second over a mile in a Grde2 and a third over a mile at Grde3. A very talented filly who is way over due for a big win and is capable of upsetting a few of this lot. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
