This is a new type of segment for the BTB and my hope is that it helps the newbies to the game.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In this article, I\u2019m featuring the horses that have the most action in the claim box during the week.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Generally, I\u2019m focused on horses with 10 or more claims, but my breech a bit lower as I did this first week setting the threshold at 9.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I do apologize for any I may have missed in advance.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u00a0<\/SPAN>My intent is to try to give readers and newbies some insight as to why trainers were after the horse that was claimed. \u00a0<\/SPAN>Basically answering the question\u2026What did so many people see in this one that I may have missed?<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

This week, most activity was with the low end claimers.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Not much surprise there as they are very affordable and don\u2019t require a huge outlay of BP\u2019s (Breeding Points).<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

The week\u2019s high of 18 bidders for this colt out of Blame has tailed off from speeds of 100 early this year in allowance company.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He dropped from $50k claimers to $3.5 this week and finished second with a strong finish.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Dirt runner has ability to be earner for new trainer and looks to prefer the wet track over the dry.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

Horse that is sired by Eddington has been racing in claimers for quite some time and just got snagged with a drop to the dirt cheap level.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Just missed this week in a photo for the top spot and has been on board about 2\/3rds of the time.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Godd BP earner.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

One of two highly sought mares in the same race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Betica was claimed solely for breeding purposes immediately following her 2nd<\/SUP> place finish this week. The blood line of Green Desert x Cat Thief was appealing and Mrs Venezuela is the offspring, which was sired by Fighting Brave.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

6\/13\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Silver El Prospect\u00a0 <\/SPAN>$2,000 claimed by Ebucher\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>16 claims<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/B><\/P>

This is the other highly desired horse claimed in same race with above mentioned Betica.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>And, for the same purpose.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>After winning her 7th<\/SUP> career race, she was immediately retired and was used to breed Sunny Sez Pr.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Silver El Prospect\u2019s bloodline of Silver Charm x El Prado was used with Ordway as the sire to the new bred.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

After being off the board for 8 races, this mare was dropped drastically from allowance to the dirt cheap claimers.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The grass runner finished 2nd<\/SUP> and the bloodline of Redoute\u2019s Choice x Galileo drew a lot of trainers to the claiming box.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Expect this one to be retired in near future.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

This gal was in same race with Dippy Doubt and had slightly more interest from trainers.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She won her second in a row and has won 4 of her last 6 starts.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She had easy win after drop from $30k where she hit speed of 94.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This weekends race was an unispiring 81 and winning by 3.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Tells me she still has some wins in her.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Dylan Thomas x Montjeu bloodline is favorable to breeding.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>May see her in some starter races before retirement to squeeze out a few more bps.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

This 6 year old mare is now with her 6th<\/SUP> owner.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She\u2019s out of the Midnight Lute x Moutain Cat pedigree.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has won two in a row and three of her last four.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She\u2019s a good bp earner, winning 15 of 34 races and is capable of running speeds in the 100 neighborhood.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Looks to be a good acquisition.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

A four year colt out of the respectful Fusaichi Pegasus x Dynaformer lineage has moved onto his eighth trainer.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This one hasn\u2019t fared well, 8 out of 20 on the board careerwise, but is coming to life as he\u2019s been on board 5 of last 6.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He\u2019s raced once on the grass and may well be worth another shot there with the Dynaformer in the blood.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

Another frequent barn mover is now on to his eighth trainer and the fourth one this year.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>It\u2019s easy to see why this Noonmark x El Prado bred horse is popular in the claim box.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He\u2019s 4-1-2 in eight races this year, a storng BP earner.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Speeds in the 90 range keep him as a good claim\/starter runner.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>
