This mile and three eights $70,000 Stakes race for all four year old and up horses will be the highlight of what proves to be a great race day here. He likes to stay near the lead and finish strong and seems to have finally learned how to do that. In 10 Stakes races, he has five seconds and two thirds but can’t quite get it over the hump. This week is scheduled to be a near miss and trainer SirBarton and jockey Oraz who is having a nice year so far, want to break that cycle. It’s the first race of the new year for this five year old and he would like to turn over a new leaf and start his year off right. In 23 races, he has only two wins. He won his first last year, an allowance and never found the winners circle again. He would like to start off this year the same way for the first race of 2006. He ran his best race in his only other time at a race this long so he may have found his niche. He has some pretty strong company though so jockey Brennan had better save him up for a strong finish in the stretch.<PP#5>

5 – IN THE THEATRE(GB)

ODDS

OWNER

WIN%

JOCKEY

WIN%

TOP SPEED

AVG SPEED

RANK

2/1

Funnyfello

11.3%

Z.Ayya

21%

108.4

102.3</T>
58</T>

(IN THE WINGS(GB) x THEATRICAL(IRE) x CAERLEON) Our Morning Line favorite is the oldest entry at age six.
