It was asked in my race preview \u201c Who will provide the answers\u201d in Ostend? It appears that things got done by Things Need Done and lots of answers were provided in the $45,000 Jinx Lagoon Bonanza stakes for 2 year old fillies on turf at a mile and a sixteenth. <\/p>\n
The Shadeed filly got back on track after a disappointing previous race. It appears that she needed to get one stakes race under her belt before her outstanding effort here. She was parked in third just off the shoulder of the leader until she took control midway through the race and carried it home easily. Trainer Sunrunner has to be smiling after her sixth race on the board in only seven races. <\/p>\n
Shotgun Willy\u2019s jumped out to an early lead over Lannister but ended up fading to last. Things Need Done flashed by them at the half and breezed in with an 89 SPF. Port Kitten ran a nice race and finished second while Grass Clipper finished strong down the stretch for third. <\/p>\n
Things Need Done still has some work ahead of her this season but she has a leg up on lots of other talented fillies that she may face later this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
