Like father Carson City, is able to produce fast times but unlike Carson City, can do it at much longer distances. Is coming off a big 1 mile win in the DPCD Mile, part of DelPenn Day. Has a 2-1-0-1 record in regular stakes races which is one of the best in here. $400,000 earnings look likely to be boosted way up on the Sunday update.

PP2- Lord Hornblower has an experienced 3 for 14 record, and wemblem his owner is going to be happy about that when the race is over. 102 sp is nothing to complain about, and neither is his improvement when he recently tried the turf. Opened up by eight lengths at the half in his most recent race to date, but ended up losing by 3/4 of a length despite his lead of 7 at the 3/4 marker as well. All of his non msw races were allowances, and the step up to stakes might be a concern. A With a 102 sp though and a very impressive last race, you can’t blame wemblem for the class change, will be up there at finish.

PP3: The favorite in here is Last Groom T, who is owned by the very sucessful owner eastecho99. $500,000 mark has been reached for him in only 19 starts, and has even placed in a grade one before. The DPCD Mile was his last start, finishing fifth behind Hail The Leaf. Is looking for a rematch and has found one here, at .5 furlongs longer. These two are sure to be close together at the finish and from the start.

PP4: Kyogle Tiger is owned by tulloch, and has made $250,000 in 5 years of life. Finished third in NC Mile at 8 furlongs only a few weeks back, and will be closing well at end. Before that great effort however, Kyogle won an allowance by two lengths. About a year ago raced an impressive 109 and 106 less than three months apart. Since hasn’t had much luck, but you never know when a horse can rebound. Seems like sky’s the limit for this one.

PP5: Deputy Drop/lbailey might have finally chose between dirt or turf. One thing that hasn’t changed in the mind of lbailey though is that this horse like speed. Almost always leads from the start to the half though, and many times even longer. Has raced two 99’s straight stakes in Indiana, and has been 99 or above in 5 straight overall. Has a bit of experience and has tried a lot of everything, great shot.

PP6: A.P. Adventure is yet another with over $250,000 in earnings. Pedroza is cutting the 4 year old slightly back in distance on Saturday. Has pretty nice sp’s with two triple digits in past 10, and in both of those finished second. Almost a one third winning percentage is a good reason to bet him, as well as the cut back in distance most likely will help. Will be within a few, if not ahead, at the line.

PP7: USA owned by riverdance has just won a 9.5 furlong stakes by a head in last time out. Two straight mid-100’s is great for the horse, and last try at 8.5 furlongs was a close second in a stakes. 3 wins and 2 places in past 8, 14 wins in 48 starts overall. USA is now a six year old and is still doing a great job in racing. 65th Turf Classic Ranking is amazing for a horse this old.

[2

post-1449","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
