New South Wales<\/SPAN><\/B><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> – The Conil Special<\/I> will top the race card in <\/SPAN>New South Wales<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> this weekend and a field of five sophomore fillies will go to the post in the 7 1\/2 furlong race over the turf.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A $90,000 purse is up for grabs in the race named after a stakes placed 9 YO mare by Twining.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She managed six wins from 34 starts and is the dam of two foals to race – both winners.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Here is the field by post position for the race.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Breaking from the inside will be La Gomera<\/B> (4\/1), a 3 YO daughter of Fusaichi Pegasus.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is conditioned by Bagur<\/I><\/B> and has three wins from seven starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She was an easy winner in her very first start and comes into this race off a winning effort last time out in The Tenant Hana<\/I> Memorial<\/I>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Throw out her two dirt tries and her first stakes attempt when she stumbled out of the gate and this filly could be a good one.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Paradise<\/SPAN><\/B><\/st1:place> (2\/1) is a pricey filly being by Gone West out of a Storm Cat mare.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Trainer Cooldude<\/I><\/B> has carefully managed her career and it has paid off as she is ranked # 17.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is 7\/8 in the money with five wins.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She comes in to this race off a winning streak of four stakes before running second last time out.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Those stakes include The Autumn Furniture, The Jack Dancer, The Trick Jessie<\/I> and The Full Book<\/I>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She will be the one to beat.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

One of my favorite trainers, Alleds<\/I><\/B>, will saddle Well Awesome<\/B> (3\/2) by Awesome Again.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This 3 YO filly not only holds the top speed figure in the race but comes in off a win last time out in the Dana Crusader.<\/I>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is a stone closer and will be flying down the lane.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Switching to the turf last time out, The Neutral Zone<\/B> (9\/2) turned into a new horse that clearly relished the softer going and exploded down the lane for an allowance win with a 10 point jump in her speed figures. \u00a0\u00a0<\/SPAN>Trained by Indigo1<\/I><\/B>, this daughter of <\/SPAN>Pine Bluff<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:City> will need to be watched<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
