Is going to need to really step up in pace<br \/>here to feature in the finish.<\/p>\n<p>(2) CANDLEPOWER (IRE)<\/p>\n<p>Had an allowance win at 8.5f last start following from a 3rd the start before.<br \/>Improving type that will enjoy the jump in distance.<br \/>Has yet to win at a Stakes Level.<br \/>Should finish in the money but tough opponent in Skills In Magic.<\/p>\n<p>(3) SKILLS IN MAGIC<\/p>\n<p>Has a Stakes win to his credit over 8.5f in The CANDLE QUE (IRE) Challenge.<br \/>And whilst only 5th in the Epiphany Too Handicap over 8.5f can be forgiven for that start because the pace was cracking and he still posted a 90sp as a then 2yr old.<br \/>Definitely the one to beat here.<\/p>\n<p>(4) REDOUTE\u2019S VICE (AUS)<\/p>\n<p>Has shown some ability over the sprints but untried over routes;<br \/>and the 9.5f will be a huge test here. Danehill line so may get the distance but<br \/>then again it may not; will be struggling to place here.<\/p>\n<p>(5) ITHREWUPINMYMOUTH (AUS) <\/p>\n<p>Despite its icky name it has a Stakes victory in the sprinting lanes.<br \/>But like Vasectomy has never been over a mile.<br \/>Stepping up 2.5f here from last start.<br \/>Should finish somewhere in the money but hard to see it<br \/>overcoming the proven router in Skills In Magic. <\/p>\n<p>Conclusion<\/p>\n<p>Is it a one horse race ?<br \/>Yup certainly looks like a Skills In Magic win unless<br \/>Candlepower (Ire) can produce something special..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Skills in Magic..
