Tasmania<\/SPAN><\/B><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> – The $65,000 Nexis Virgin tops the card here in <\/SPAN>Tasmania<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> this weekend and a field of six sophomore fillies will contest the six furlong main track feature.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Nexis Virgin is a stakes winning daughter of Mt Livermore and garnered three wins from 32 starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is the dam of two foals to race, one winner.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

With the top speed figure of the group, Unbridled’s Spirit<\/B> (9\/5) was given the slight nod by the odds maker.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A daughter of Unbridled Song,<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

she is trained by Burn1down<\/I><\/B> and has three wins from seven starts, earning more than $100,000 in her short career.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Ranked #75, she broke her maiden over a sloppy track in <\/SPAN>Kentucky<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> and then was shipped to this very track to run in The Apple Laughing her next out.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She won that, again on a sloppy track and then showed she could handle a fast track when she won out in <\/SPAN>Arizona<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> four starts back. \u00a0<\/SPAN>This well traveled filly is back at the scene of her first stakes victory and looks to be well placed.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Breaking from the inside is Deadwood Returns<\/B> (5\/2) a lovely moving filly by <\/SPAN>Johannesburg<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:City>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She only sports one win but has plenty of speed.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Looking at her form, the distance may be a question, but trainer Deadwood<\/I><\/B> insists she has plenty of air, claiming to have her on a regimen of long gallops for fitness.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Storm System<\/SPAN><\/B> (3\/1) is by Housebuster and is another that may have a problem with the distance.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has a ton of gas but has been unable to carry it beyond 5 1\/2 furlongs.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has been in the money in four of her six starts and has won two of them for trainer Firewalker<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She followed her maiden win by an easy victory in an allowance race before earning a couple of 4ths, a third, and a second in stakes company. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Kirby55<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> is the trainer of Kirby’s Quest,<\/B> a 3 YO daughter of <\/SPAN>Coronado<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:City>‘s Quest.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has two wins from 12 starts although she has earned a check in seven of her races.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She comes in to this race off a winning effort but has plenty of stakes experience, her best finish being a third in The Your Pots at 5 1\/2 furlongs.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has also run in a claiming race for $10,000 but she has proved to be better than that.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Trying dirt for the first time is Hawk4’s<\/I><\/B> Crimson Reality<\/B> (7\/1).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The 3YO filly by Wolfhound has two wins from three starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She won easily at first asking and was immediately pointed toward the mammoth Jess where she grabbed a quarter in the opening furlong and beat only one horse.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Once she was healthy she was entered in an allowance race where she went wire to wire and was opening at the wire.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>If this race was on the grass she would have been the even money favorite, but as it is – it’s anyone’s guess.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Game Is On<\/SPAN><\/B> (7\/1) belongs to local resident Tasman<\/I><\/B> and has two wins from nine starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>By Robellino, she two won both a MSW and then an allowance before she was asked for more.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Unfortunately she has not managed the class jump very well, only beating a total of six horses in her last five starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Maybe she will wakeup on Saturday and be a new horse – stranger things have happened!<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
