DELAWARE<\/STRONG> – Even a marginal horse can take advantage of the easiest trip in racing: alone on the lead.<\/P>

Give a top class filly that kind of edge and you can forget about it.<\/P>

As expected, Kronus’<\/EM> K’s ARAKU ($15.70)<\/STRONG> was alone on the lead in Saturday’s Grade I Winterthur Oaks and was much the best on the day, cruising to an easy victory. With the win, the daughter of Sadler’s Wells, who disproves the theory that there is any such thing as too inbred for the Sim, vaulted from No. 3 to No. 1 in the long dirt route rankings for 3yo fillies.<\/P>

The previous No. 1 filly, Sam’s<\/EM> DONNER<\/STRONG>, was forced into a chasing position from second throughout the race\u00a0and paid the price, fading\u00a0to fourth in the late stages.<\/P>

Pandrews’<\/EM> WAKI BULLET<\/STRONG> closed strongly to nose out THE DIVORCE<\/STRONG> for the place money, and as such jumped all the way to No. 6 in the division. Jarrod2’s<\/EM> The Divorce hit the board in her second straight Grade I race, and is ranked No. 9 in her division now despite a 1-20 career record.<\/P>
