Rated a 5/1 chance in latest markets Baelish (IRE) is one of the best backed runners in what looks to be a pretty open race. Not much in the way of form to go on but he’s drawn the inside gate, has a top jock on board and hails from a highly respected stable. Given was asked of this fellow’s chances early in the week and here’s what he had to say, “Baelish is a lazy horse who has shown some talent but needs to get out of the gate well”. The first of given’s two entries should run a big race.

Seeking Indy is a 2 year old colt and is the first of silverny’s two runners. Despite the impeccable breeding being by A.P Indy out of a Seeking The Gold Mare, this colt seemed a little clumsy in trackwork taking awkward strides and stumbling from the barriers at two of two attempts. So look out Baelish and Scoobis Distaff you two could be in for more than you bargained for. A pity, was well bred by balata but everything seems to have gone downhill since. Some query with this one although silverny is quietly confident with this boy’s chances and even rates him above the second of her entries.

Scoobis Distaff is a 2 year old filly hailing from the robscoobi barns. She looks in magnificent order so the scoobs reports. When queried as to her hopes he said “she will do good I think” – a man of few words but many horses. And he hates being disturbed mid interview. 6/1 and barrier 3 but an absolute muppet of a jockey on her back. From barrier 4 he should be just lucky enough to avoid any potential barrier shannanigans from Seeking Indy and get a chance to do well. He’s a huge individual and should give a bold sight, scoobi is well within a chance of taking out the glory come race day with this individual.

Breezalong (GB) is a superb looking filly magnificently prepared by Deyoto Lefranse Head Trainer of Champion Lodge. She is 99/1 and providing she can be sneaked to the barriers before stewards see that she isn’t in fact a horse she will do one of two things. Either she will run dead last by distance and possibly be overtaken by the winner at some point, or alternatively she will be one out of the hat and win. No in betweens for the one scoobi has called the prehistoric bird, she’ll either run dead last or win.
