Gossett, paying $12.10 to the dollar on the pari mutuel.<P><B>Hattori Hanzo<\/B> took the early lead, with Toy Maker, <B>Forty Scoobs<\/B> and <B>Hawk A Doodle Do<\/B> heading the chasing pack and <B>Indespensable<\/B> settled behind them.  Toy Maker always had the leader within his sights and made a forward move to take up the running when they had gone six furlongs.  Indispensable ran on to take second, finishing one and a half lengths behind the winner.  Favourite <B>Laconia Light<\/B> ran on from mid-division to be third, beaten a total of four lengths, a quarter of a length ahead of the fast-finishing <B>Act Of God<\/B> in fourth.<P>The first four in this race put up speed figures in excess of 100, the winner posting a figure of 105.  This was the fourth victory in a row for Toy Maker, and his first at Grade Three level.
