Denmark<\/B><\/st1:country-region><\/st1:place>–<\/B>This could be the oddest Graded race that I\u2019ve covered this year.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Here we have a full field entered to contest the ten furlong, $500,000, Grade I, G.S.R. Oaks and there is only one graded winner in the field.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Goldsmith\u2019s <\/I>No More Options(Gb)<\/B> won the G2 The Girls Of Summer Stake in New York<\/st1:State><\/st1:place> in week 2608.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Not that these fillies don\u2019t have talent and potential, but where is everyone else?\u00a0 <\/SPAN>One of the last big races of the year for three year old fillies only and all the top fillies have shunned the race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In another bit of oddity, top trainer Sabbath<\/I> enters five fillies from his various stables.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I\u2019m sure that many trainers enter multiple runners in the same race but these Tete ponies really stick out.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I\u2019d imagine that they stick out for their imaginative names and stable handles.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>To think that all their names begin with Tete and they all hail from a multiple Sabbath <\/I>stable.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>If not for that I\u2019d never know that they were related.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>But seriously, the favorite is Imamudder\u2019s <\/I>Krazy Momma(Ire)<\/B> at 3-1.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>If you were keeping tabs last week, Official Hong Kong Track Handicapper, Pete \u2018The Hatchet\u2019 Wang tipped a $1,100 trifecta.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Perhaps he can get lucky two weeks in a row as he looks at each filly and assesses their chances.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP1, Flstables <\/I>Cyrrius Pride(Ire)<\/B>(11-1, Luffe).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cLast tall tale before the holidays.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Here\u2019s hoping everyone has a safe and prosperous holiday.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This first filly is sent out by a top trainer.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is very well bred, going Rock of Gibraltar to Storm Cat to Mr. P.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She brings plenty early speed to this affair as well as a spotty race record.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She\u2019s had plenty of career success, including winning a stake, but as the length of the races has increased her speed ratings have inversely decreased.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>For example, in her last three races she\u2019s raced 9 furlongs twice and 9.5 furlongs.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her best speed ratings when racing those distances was a 93.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>When racing 8.5 furlongs she has a 100 speed rating.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>From a handicapping angle, it wouldn\u2019t bother me if she was stopping while putting up 100\u2019s.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In this game that may mean that she wants more distance.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>What concerns me is that huge drop off in speed gives me a hint that she will only be an early pace influence as she competes in a race farther then any she has ever raced.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u00a0<\/SPAN>If this race was 8.5 furlongs, I\u2019d tout her, but it\u2019s ten furlongs so I can\u2019t.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP2, Wonderland\u2019s <\/I>Lord Have Mercy<\/B>(13-1, Holt).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cThis filly was claimed in week 2461 and then ripped off six wins in a row.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her tag ran out and she tried a stake race in her last and she was a well beaten fourth.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Distance of that stake race was 10.5 furlongs and her speed rating for that race was an 80.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Granted that race was her first off a layoff, but the other time she tried beyond nine furlongs she only had an 84 speed rating when competing over a good turf course.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Another who\u2019s best speed ratings come at the 8.5 to 9 furlong distance.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>At 8.5 to 9 furlongs this closer can put up a 97 speed rating.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Might surprise, but from a wagering aspect I\u2019m going elsewhere.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP3, Lasthope1\u2019s <\/I>Penitent<\/B>(14-1, Schardein).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cDaughter of Repent has a second in a Grade III race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She also has two wins at the distance.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Stalker must increase overall speed rating to have a shot.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Best Speed rating when winning ten is a 91.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Best overall speed rating is a 95.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I\u2019ll use her underneath in my exotics because I know she can get the distance and she does have that in the money graded finish.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP4, Lenny15\u2019s<\/I> Alychant<\/B>(8-1, Gowan).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cEarly speed horse had a terrific outing in her last race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This daughter of War Chant led gate to wire in a ten furlong allowance putting up a 101 in doing so.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The 101 was a new top speed rating, but I note that the last time she ran ten furlongs she also posted a career high.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In that race she rated and then closed to the victory.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Must use her top and bottom in the exotics.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has yet to demonstrate her class, but has been limited in her stake races.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>May not win this race, but with a bit more graded experience she could become a factor, especially next year with additional maturity.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP5, Corza6\u2019s <\/I>Flogging Molly<\/B>(37-1, Dahl).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cShouldn\u2019t mind distance as she has Cat Thief, A.P. Indy and Nureyev in her blood, but her best speed rating is an 86.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The 86 came in an 8.5 and a mile race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has yet to race beyond 8.5 furlongs and I\u2019d imagine that in this race she will set a new speed rating high.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I can only guess at how high her new top will be, but I don\u2019t think it will be above a 96 and I think 100 will win this race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Minor share at best.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In Twenty-two starts she has won ten times yet has only won $60,000.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP6, Stormborn\u2019s <\/I>Demonslayer<\/B>(19-1, Coffey).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cDaughter of War Chant does her best running when the turf is \u2018off\u2019.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Two of her career three wins came when track was less than firm.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She won a stake race when turf was good.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her best career speed rating came over a good track in her last start.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Unfortunately the track is firm.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP7, Fusion\u2019s <\/I>V\u2019s Girl<\/B>(13-1, Wilcox).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cAnother who has been ineffective when racing beyond 8.5 furlongs and another who prefers \u2018off\u2019 tracks.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Had a 97 and a stake win when racing a mile over a good turf course.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Best speed rating going past a mile is a 92.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP8, Sabbath3\u2019s <\/I>Tete High Moon(Ire)<\/B>(10-1, Sheridan<\/st1:City><\/st1:place>).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cThe first of many Tete\u2019s.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I previewed this daughter of Moon Ballard in the G3 Freiermuth where she was hard charging third, over a good turf course, with a 95 speed rating.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That speed rating was a career high.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In her last race she tried the dirt and was seventh in a G2.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Catches firm turf today and should logically improve.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I believe that she will set a new personal best speed rating.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Whether the new lifetime best is fast enough to win is the big question.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I\u2019ll use her top and bottom in my exotics.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has won half of her twelve career starts including a couple of stakes.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP9, Sabbath3\u2019s <\/I>Tete Sodom(Ire)<\/B>(12-1, Hoge).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cAnother Tete.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This filly is a daughter of Daylami out of a Saddler\u2019s Wells mare.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I think she\u2019s really improving, but she looks to be a miler.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She might have been placed in this race to be a rabbit.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Flashed early speed in last and won.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I look for her to take some of the starch out of some of the other early speed, especially No More Options<\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Best lifetime speed rating is a 93 which won\u2019t get it done versus this field.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP10, Sabbath4\u2019s <\/I>Tete Marea(Ire)<\/B>(15-1, Fuchs).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cOur third Tete is a daughter of Sligo<\/st1:PlaceName> Bay<\/st1:PlaceType> out of an Irish<\/st1:PlaceName> River<\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> mare.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has had some success when racing at eleven furlongs, winning three times at that distance.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has yet to win trying any other distance and this closer\u2019s best speed rating is a 94.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She might be a ten furlong filly so if you have a few extra bucks you may want to include her underneath in your wagers.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP11, Goldsmith\u2019s <\/I>No More Options(Gb)<\/B>(11-1, Haley).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cFormer claimer is a Grade 2 winner who has been knocking heads versus La Pata Daisy<\/B> all season long.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She doesn\u2019t face anything of that caliber in this race and is a tremendous overlay at 11-1.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She enjoys the distance and is capable of a 95 plus speed rating in this race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her biggest difficulty for her to overcome is the plethora of other early speed types.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has shown a prior ability to rate but she is not consistent in doing so as of late.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She doesn\u2019t seem to fire now as she did earlier.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Perhaps her best strategy is to go to the front and hold on.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I\u2019ll use this daughter of Diesis top and bottom in my wagers.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP12, Slewsback3\u2019s <\/I>Greek Ransom<\/B>(8-1, Red Ransom).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cDaughter of Red Ransom is making only her tenth start.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Never has raced the distance but she should be competitive in this race for several reasons.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>First she\u2019s had some successful graded performances, with a third in a G2 and secondly her best speed rating is a 100.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Pedigree suggests that she will enjoy the added ground so use her under in your exotics.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP13, Imamudder\u2019s <\/I>Krazy Momma(Ire)<\/B>(3-1, Edens<\/st1:City><\/st1:place>).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cThe favorite is a daughter of Desert King out of an Irish<\/st1:PlaceName> River<\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> mare.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has raced 14 times in her career, won three and finished second eight times.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Never gone the distance so that is a concern, but if she can handle the distance she does have a career high 108 speed rating.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She\u2019s routed three times in her career and never been worse then second.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has a second in a Grade III.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>With all the other early speed in this race, I\u2019m going to use her under because she is not proven racing past ten furlongs.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP14, Sabbath\u2019s <\/I>Tete Montsegur(Ire)<\/B>(6-1, Givan).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cLast two races has seen this filly improve her speed ratings dramatically.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I think a lot of that has to do with maturity as this filly is a Montjeu out of Halo which to me is all about stamina.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Raced in the G3 Diana Classic two starts ago and was a solid second with a 98 speed rating.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In her last race she was in a nine furlong stake and was a closing second with a 100 speed rating.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Pace of the race will help this filly.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She also has the ability and class necessary to win.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I\u2019m using her top and bottom in my exotics.\u201d<\/P>
