Spain<\/SPAN><\/B><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region> – The Triple Joy Stakes will bring together six fillies and mares three and up.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>These long distance runners will traverse a mile and 3\/4 over the main track for a purse of $70,000.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The race is named for a 6YO Japanese mare of the same name by Toyo Lyphard who started 40 times, winning six, including one stakes. \u00a0<\/SPAN>She is the dam of one foal to race – a maiden.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Slwcityslw<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> will send out the morning line favorite, a dark bay 5 YO mare by A P Indy, Sacrilege<\/B> (9\/5).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Ranked # 21 in the Dirt Long division, Sacrilege<\/B> has won 16 of 41 races and is getting a bit of vacation from the high graded stakes level.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She won two Grade III’s back to back, followed that with a 5th<\/SUP> in the Grade II Big Dessert, and then, after being wiped out at the break, finished far back in the Grade III Canary.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She will try and regain some of her lost confidence here on Saturday.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Pardon Me<\/SPAN><\/B> (5\/2) is ranked in the top 100 of the same Long Dirt division and the 5 YO daughter of Daylami has notched 11 victories from 39 starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She was the easy winner of the <\/SPAN>Twilight<\/SPAN><\/st1:PlaceName> <\/SPAN>Pass<\/SPAN><\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> three back and was a closing third last time out in the Banking The Dance Special.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She will be saddled by trainer Studkenny6<\/I><\/B>.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Breaking from the outside will be the well-regarded Coominya Strides<\/B> (3\/1), a 4 YO by Rock Of Gibralter.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She won the Stupidly Build last time out by over two lengths easily defeating Weapons Of War<\/B>, another entry in this race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u00a0<\/SPAN>The rangy bay filly hopes to get her picture taken for the sixth time for her trainer Wedafoxhat<\/I><\/B>.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

A bright chestnut 3 YO filly named Working Hollandia<\/B> (6\/1) is one of three 3 YO’s in the race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>By Woodman and capably trained by Hollandia<\/I><\/B> himself, this filly has seldom been out of the money and has won four of 16 starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She was well placed throughout her allowance career and is coming in off a win in the Ms. Kenbar at longer.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is certainly fit and is going for her third win in a row.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Pandrews<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> will send out a plain brown filly named Waki Bullet<\/B> (7\/1) is one of the least experienced in the group with only 11 races.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The 3 YO daughter of Red Bullet has four wins and is ranked # 21 in the Long Dirt division, but I was assured that she was going for ‘more of a work’ this time to try and set up for the DelPen Champion’s Day.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She was an easy winner at this distance in the Buck Sierra two back and was flying last time out at a much shorter distance.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The longshot (so to speak) is Spcstable’s<\/I><\/B> Weapons of War<\/B> (8\/1).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The last of the 3 YOs, this dark bay or brown filly by Sendawar, has also only started 11 times and has three wins.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The former $40,000 claimer has rewarded her new trainer by steadily improving as the distances grew longer.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She was second last time out in the Stupidly Build and should improve off of that.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is definitely one to watch.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

This is a race full of closers but someone is going to have to show the way.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Pardon Me<\/B> and Working Hollandia<\/B> seem to be the most likely to find themselves on the lead.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
