about the bargain.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The Delta Tiger Sprint contained the namesake\u2019s best \u201cchance\u201d in the field, and <B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\">Chance For Delta<\/B> made it pay off with a length-and-a-quarter victory in the $125,000 Delta Tiger Sprint, part of the day-long series of races that made up the inaugural running of the Bargain Bowl.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">\u00a0 <\/SPAN><B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\">Sea Orchid<\/B> was second-best, and <B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\">Roy Race<\/B> set the pace but faded late while still holding on to third.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = \"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office\" \/><o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/P><P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt\"><o:p><FONT face=Tahoma>\u00a0<\/FONT><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P><P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><FONT face=Tahoma><B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt\">Roy Race<\/SPAN><\/B><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt\"> got a good head start from the gate, and drew out into an easy lead of a length-and-a-half through the opening half of the race.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Though he was stalked by <B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\">Pleasure Parade(<\/B><\/SPAN><st1:stockticker><B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt\">IRE<\/SPAN><\/B><\/st1:stockticker><B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt\">)<\/SPAN><\/B><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt\"> in the early going, the fractions were somewhat mild for a stakes sprint, and the early pace scenario began to crumble approaching the top of the stretch.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">\u00a0 <\/SPAN><B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\">Chance For Delta<\/B> kicked into overdrive courtesy of an inside trip, and rallied through the stretch to ultimately prevail at the sixteenth pole, drawing clear under the line by a length-and-a-quarter.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">\u00a0 <\/SPAN><B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\">Sea Orchid<\/B> survived some traffic issues on the turn and gained momentum on the winner late, but couldn\u2019t make further inroads on the deficit before the wire came.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">\u00a0 <\/SPAN><B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\">Roy Race<\/B> tired, but just had enough left in the tank to nose out <B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\">Criminally Delta<\/B>, the winner\u2019s uncoupled barn-mate who unleashed a hardcore rally in deep stretch to no avail, for third.<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/P><P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt\"><o:p><FONT face=Tahoma>\u00a0<\/FONT><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P><P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><FONT face=Tahoma><B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt\">Chance For Delta<\/SPAN><\/B><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt\">, who earlier in the year also captured the Bargain Oaks, earned $75,000 for the <B style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal\"><I style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal\">imatiger2<\/I><\/B> stables.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The three-year-old daughter of last-crop sire American Chance (who will be ineligible to be used as a main sire at the end of the year) successfully negotiated the six furlongs in <\/SPAN><st1:time Hour=\"13\" Minute=\"10\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt\">1:10<\/SPAN><\/st1:time><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt\"> 2\/5, picking up a speed figure of 93 for the effort.<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A capable filly, she has the potential to evolve into something kinda special at 4, and may possibly have an opportunity to defend
