Welcome to the fifth race of todays Bargain Bred racing festival. This is an annual event run by Knightmare<\/STRONG> especially for those runners bred at a cost of less than 100bp’s from scratch. There are some very nice prizes, some reward for those trainers who put some thought into their breeding. After all anyone can breed a blueblood with enough bp’s or credits and be fairly certain to get a decent runner. Well done Knightmare<\/STRONG>.<\/P> This contest is named in honour of longstanding Simmer Kaif<\/STRONG> and features eight runners over the turf course at a mile.<\/P> CRIBART KYLE<\/STRONG> is by GLITZI’S CLASSIC out of SKY CLASSIC and has been running well in mid-level claimers at around a mile. He hasn’t looked to finish hisd races at a mile though and probably wants further. Expect him run a mid 80 sp and finish mid division.<\/P> WIZENGAMOT<\/STRONG> is by DANCING WIZARD who is by NORTHERN DANCER out of a BOLD RULER mare.. He has been running on the dirt recently but his best two recent runs both came on turf and he won an allowance over todays trip with a good 90sp six races ago. This looks his distance and surface and I expect a big run today. Definite top four finish.<\/P> GROOVE MASTER<\/STRONG> is by GROOVY JETT who is by GROOVY (out of NORCLIFFE) and is another who looks to want more distance. He has been running mid to high 80’s sp’s without ever looking like getting in a blow at around a mile and I expect more of the same today. Would be interesting over 10-12f. Will finish towards the rear.<\/P> HOLD MY LIFE(IRE)<\/STRONG> is by DESERT SECRET(IRE) who is by SADLERS WELLS and is todays short priced favourite on the morning line. He deserves it too as he has won three allowances recently and finished an excellent second is a stakes over 7f\u00a0 latest.This looks his distance and he shouls win with ssomething in hand, in fact I exoect him to break the 100sp figure barrier. Well done bigblueone<\/EM> this looks a decent horse in the making.<\/P> STAY IN VEGAS<\/STRONG> is by EMANCIPATOR who has FORTY NINER and DANZIG bloodlines and was a stallion much sought after a couple of years ago. She has been running well at a variety of diastances but won cosily over 12f recently. She might want the 10-12f distance will struggle to land a blow here. Look for her to finish down the field.<\/P> CASH THRESHOLD<\/STRONG> is by FLEMENSFIRTH who is by ALLEGED. He has been running in mid level claimers betwen 8-10f and has finished close up in most. Seems to have the knack of finding one too good and i’ll be looking for a good run and a top five finish today.<\/P> CALL TO ARMS AZ<\/STRONG> is by BRIEF TRUCE out of IRISH RIVER and is the most experienced runner in todays field. He’s had very few runs in the last two years but looked to be nearing his best with a strong finishing second in an allowance latest. I expect a big run and a top three finish.<\/P> FAR BEYOND THE SUN<\/STRONG> is by LABEEB out of LEAR FAN and could be the spanner in the works today. He has only run three races but they’ve been pretty impressive. His latest produced a winning allowanc erun at 8f with a 91sp and he looks to be a real danger to all. Obviously still has plenty of improvement left and as he likes to sit near the front he could get first run.
