The slight favorite is a dark bay or brown colt by Gone West, Death Alley Driver<\/B> (5\/2).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>While his name sounds like a video game, the colt himself is still a maiden.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The morning line guy made him the favorite off of his breeding for sure, but also because he ran a bang up second last time out in the Cryptolightning Stakes.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He also sports improving speed figures, gets the services of a top jockey, and is trained by Sdmfs<\/I><\/B> who is well known for starting his young horses in high class races, believing in the sink or swim theory of horseracing.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Byronics<\/SPAN><\/B> (3\/1) hails from the Gavinw<\/I><\/B> stable and is a lovely copper chestnut trimmed in white.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He has been in the money in six of his seven starts and has two wins.\u00a0 He was a handy winner two races back in an allowance race and then was stepped way up in class to the Grade I Sparkling Wine where h e floundered besting only five of 14.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He should fin this much more to his liking.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Zbayou <\/SPAN><\/I><\/B>dropped the entry of his promising colt, Rahy’s Twin<\/B> (7\/2) who is the winner of one and has never been off the board in his others. \u00a0<\/SPAN>A chestnut colt with a flaxen mane and tail, he was third last time out in the Cherokee Band where he was in contention until the far turn and then tired down the lane.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He should move forward off of that effort and has a good chance on Saturday.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The plain brown but well-conformed Forestry colt comes with a rather long moniker, Forestforthetrees<\/B> (9\/2), is trained by Ohjoanie<\/I><\/B> and has been in the money in three of his four starts including one win.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He made the lead in his last start, the Ashbury Stakes but tired.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He looks fit and ready and with his improving speed figures cannot be ignored.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

A betting person could make some money off of Coominya Brew<\/B> at 5\/1.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This light grey son of Orientate is undefeated.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Ably trained by Hollymount<\/I><\/B>, he tends to lay just off the pace and then explodes down the lane.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This is his first stakes and I think he has been brought along the right way and should have no trouble with the class jump.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Hold Yer Taters<\/SPAN><\/B> (gotta love the name) is trained by Freakshow<\/I><\/B> which could explain everything and this son of <\/SPAN>Pine Bluff<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:City> is listed at 5\/1 also.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He was second last time out and is another that seems to be getting better as he matures.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The distance will not be a problem and he should only get better the farther he goes. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
