Since being claimed she hasn’t run well in her allowance races and takes the jump to stakes today. All of her allowance wins come on the turf, where she laid off the pace just a few lengths and closed in for the win. At a mile or more she has a win and show, and three shows in four starts on an off track. Not only has she only missed the board three times, she is a stakes winner against older mares, but that was on the turf this is run on the dirt. Her other list of troubles include she prefers to run sprints, and a 96 marks her best speed figure. She’s not fond of the off track, placing third in her only try, but has been resting since 2608 to prepare for this race; a switch from turf to dirt may wake her up at bit. At 9/1 I’d love to see her win, but I’ll be the first to admit she’s in over her head today.

Ok back to the rest of the field, johnno1, one of Minnesota’s managers sends out Costalot(AUS). Is that possible for an Aussie bred to cost a lot? She loves to go to the lead, so if she’s back to herself that’s where she’ll be. She has no experience over an off track so that will play into things as well.
