That’s ok this week we get to see one of my favorite runners take to the track. The Aus Boss (AUS) would win the eclipse for the most versatile runner if there was such an award. She has been good on turf, or dirt, short or long. We also get a peak at Unprecedented who beat the Breeders Bowl Classic winner a couple of runs back.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Race: 2664.3615 The Triptych Memorial – Grade I – $500,000
Track: <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Ostend
Restrictions: Fillies and mares, 4 years old and up
Distance: Six furlongs on the Turf

The most versatile filly in the sim today leads this field of turf sprinters. The Aus Boss (AUS) has won grade I races in sprints, miles on turf on dirt and she just missed last time out at a mile and a quarter on the turf. Her wins have slowed down over the summer but this could be the ideal place to get things back on track for her.

Grausturm is a longer sprint specialist and cuts back a bit in distance for this try. She is capable of running a 100+ speed figure and could possibly threaten the favorite here. K’s Addiction has flashed some good speed on a few occasions. She needs to be on top of her game to compete here.

Blue Jays Fan has some of the better speed in this field. That speed could put her in a very good position to upset this field. Grass and She has been right there in many recent turf sprints. She tried the dirt last time and was solid a move back to the turf could prove to be a plus for her.

Race: 2664.3614 Colonel Prospector Emerald Stakes – Grade I – $500,000
Track: Ostend
Restrictions: All horses, 3 years old and up
Distance: One mile on the Dirt

</BASEFONT>
Tete Galactic (IRE) leads this field of dirt milers. With a turf pedigree to die for this guy has found his success on the dirt. He is quick from the gates and won three of his last five races including a grade II mile. He will have to deal with other speed here so he might be a little vulnerable in this spot.

High Raiser has been super fast in allowance races to this point and now takes the jump right to the top. He is one of the favorites but he probably will not enjoy the nice cushiony lead he had last time out. Secret’s Untouched has been a great 9f horse on turf or dirt. He has a stakes win on either surface in his last two and has been pretty close in his previous races. The cut back in distance will be interesting and he will have plenty of pace to chase.

Explorer is a long sprinter who will stretch out. He has been a deep closer in the sprints but I like the sprint to route angle. He will have plenty of pace to chase if he can handle the two turns. Unprecedented is an excellent long shot play at 11/1. The horse wired the a field a couple of races back that included the Breeders Bowl Classic winner. He has very good speed but does not need the lead. This lightly raced five year old has a very good shot here this week.

[4

post-1073","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-general
["GET
