G Walters jumps on board him today for his third start at the track, and I guess connections are hoping third time lucky. This is his first start beyond 1800m and I think he\u2019s better suited to shorter distances. This is his third start from a spell but can\u2019t see him doing well here.<\/p>\n

This horse has so many times finished runner up and with his form he must be considered as one of the main chances.<\/p>\n

Six year old horse who is bred for races like this. This ones been around for a while and yet this is his first attempt at this race. His form at the distance is very good with him yet to miss a placing from four starts, also his stats at the class are good. D Montgomery has picked up the ride on him again, but you\u2019ll have to think he\u2019d have to ride him better than he did in the GRP2 The Rheinstone 2400m back in August. Has had three easy allowances races in the lead up to this race and two of those races were at this track so you can say he is primed for this one. If we see the best of Mountain Buda he will definitely go close here.<\/p>\n

His last run in the The Second Coming 2000m was impressive and he is dropping back in class so he\u2019s got to be a big threat here. <\/p>\n

Has had a win from two starts at the distance and is yet to finish worse than second at the class. His only start at the track was back in July in a nw4x allowance at 2400m where he wasn\u2019t challenged to win comfortably. He is a quality horse and I think he\u2019ll bounce right back here and is the one to beat.<\/p>\n

He did well last start in the GRP3 Ravens Bowl at 2400m where he was at similar odds to finish third at his first start in group racing. This one is also one that you have to take at your own risk.<\/p>\n
