With no true favorites here <br \/>    its was pretty much a free for all when the gates opened at race time. After a problem free gate load of the entries the starting<br \/>    bell announced the start. <br \/>    Suspect Delivery, River Is Dry and Distorted Sunlight broke quickest of the bunch with the rest settling into a pack stretched <br \/>    along several furlongs. Cotton Haack, Petal Road and Union Express were the early trailers. Into the first turn Suspect Delivery<br \/>    set the early pace with Distorted Sunlight stalking close and River Is Dry was running third. Serenade T and Diputada were 4th<br \/>    and 5th not too far back from the pace. By the start of the second turn Distorted Sunlight overtook Suspect Delivery for the lead<br \/>    with River Is Dry still in 3rd, Wild Magic had emerged from mid-pack to begin a strong run along the outside, picking off horses<br \/>   steadily to move into 5th. <br \/>    In the home stretch Distorted Sunlight had opened up a two length lead on Suspect Delivery, River Is Dry was hanging onto 3rd <br \/>    but was beginning to fade. Cotton Haack had begun his run but had too much to do. Wild Magic put up a challenge in the last <br \/>    furlong but would have to settle for second behind the winner Distorted Sunlight. Cotton Haack managed third with her late run,<br \/>    and Diputada found abit more to get up for fourth.<br \/>    Congrats to Distorted Sunlight and trainer aalex331 for their first G3 win and a career high speed of 107.    <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>saturdays fillies run strong in Bourbon<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":450,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-10599","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-general"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/btb.ehorseracing.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/10599","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/btb.ehorseracing.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/btb.ehorseracing.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/btb.ehorseracing.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/450"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/btb.ehorseracing.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=10599"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/btb.ehorseracing.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/10599\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/btb.ehorseracing.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=10599"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/btb.ehorseracing.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=10599"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/btb.ehorseracing.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=10599"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
