Hello everyone and welcome to Newmarket<\/st1:City>, England<\/st1:country-region><\/st1:place> where we have this weeks spotlight race for two year old fillies and mares.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>We have a small field of five runners in this race, though this is just as winnable from one girl to the next.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Six furlongs is the distance we will run today in a Grade II race on the firm turf.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The purse is and overwhelming 250,000 for the top finisher in this years The Cherry Hilton.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>And now everyone let\u2019s meet our ladies.\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

1<\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Girolabo, (Girolamo X First Samurai X Unbridled\u2019s Song)<\/B> will lead things off in our post parade today coming in at odds of 5\/1.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Owner bobrba1 hopes that a switch from the dirt to the grass will do this girl wonders.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This New York<\/st1:place><\/st1:State> bred started her career off in her home state where she finished 4th<\/SUP> in an fillies only maiden special weight running a speed figure of 66.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She came back to the maiden ranks on the dirt about a month and a half later and won at odds of 8\/1 with a speed figure of only a 69.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She will hope the change of surface will be to her liking and she will improve that speed figure at least ten points to have a shot. <\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

2<\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Macadamia, (Thunder Gulch X Galileo X Saint Ballado) <\/B>will come out of gate two at odds of 4\/1.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Owner mickbriant hopes that she continues to like the surface change we saw last time out.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In her first ever race, this girl ran on the dirt and faltered in a maiden special weight running a disappointing 52 speed figure.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Not giving up hope, she switched the surfaces and entered another maiden special weight, this time on the firm turf where her speed figure improved a giant 26 SP and she led coast to coast to win the race with a speed figure of 78.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She will look to make it two in a row toady, and make a statement that she is here to stay.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

3<\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Dancing On, (Dansili X Dynaformer X Kingmambo) <\/B>is the second favorite in today\u2019s race at odds of 8\/5.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Why shouldn\u2019t she be though as she has proven herself in both career races she has ran in.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her first race was against a near full field of twelve in a maiden special weight where she came roaring back from fifth to take the field by \u00be of a length.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She also ran a speed figure of 70.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She was not to disappoint in the following race though as she improved upon that speed figure after about a month and a half layoff.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Running a 71 speed figure she took on a field of five in a listed stakes and won that to by 1 \u00bd lengths.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She will be looking to make it three for three in her career today as well as improving speed figure numbers.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

4<\/B>. \u00a0<\/SPAN>Neandra, (Acclamation X Rahy X Storm Bird)<\/B> is the favorite in today\u2019s race coming into the race with odds of 7\/5.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has conquered every field she has been in but one.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her first race was wound up being the only second place finish she has had as she lost the race at the wire by \u00bc of a length.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Since that February day she has raced three times finishing first in all three races.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A coast to coast win in a maiden special weight where she ran a 74 speed figure, was followed by a race where she came back from third to take a listed stakes field with a speed figure of 80.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Last time out she improved on her speed figure taking another full field of 14 down while leading coast to coast and running a speed figure of 85.\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

5<\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Wild Concept, (Wild Rush X Persian Bold X Current Concept)<\/B> will round out today\u2019s field coming into the race with odds of 7\/1.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has just one career race under her saddle, but she showed that she can win as she led coast to coast and took a field of eight maidens by surprise and won at odds of 15\/1.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her speed figure in that race was a good first speed of 78.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She hopes to continue that same success here today as she takes on four other ladies, all of which are a little better tested and have a little better pedigree.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Saying she has no shot at winning though is laughable as this girl has shown she can find her way to the winners circle at odds way above the favorite.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>
